“basic shopping mall with a chinese facade”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 March 2013

If you are interested in seeing how generic shopping malls are infiltrating to all parts of the world, take a stroll it is pedestrianized so it is not a stressful stroll full of shops like H and M that you can find anywhere Currenlty less than half the facades are couupied but i suspect that will change soon

“Intersting enough. Worth a walk through.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2013 via mobile

Many historic, traditional, older buildings with modern shops & restaurants inside them. Walkable streets. Worth spending a couple of hours maximum, looking around the shops & streets.
Good during a warm day, and nicer weather as it is all outside. Many shops closed. Intersting, but don't expect to be amazed by any means.

“Go to the mall in china”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 February 2013 via mobile

This is an open air market and a western shopping mall all in one. Remnants from the Olympics, when I was there many of the locations are vacant and the ones that are there were not very busy. The only good thing is down on the left there is a portion that is all restaurants. Peking duck and a lot of dim sum.

This is worth walking to after tienimen square, but it is not a destination, more less a diversion.

“touristy”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 January 2013

Its a short street kitted up to look like old buildings with modern stores inside. Its good for a few hours stroll. It has Zara, H&M and some other stores. there's a Kentucky for a quick lunch. Its adjacent to Tianmen street. For adventurous types there are some restaurants and fruit stalls frequented by locals outside and adjacent the main street.

A must place to visit. Lots of shops and food stalls to choose from. Quanjude Peking Duck Restaurant is here, and Uniqlo too.
