I have chosen the hotel due to location. The first impression was ok. Staff was friendly and it able to communicate in English. Check-in process was fast and efferent. The lobby looked ok. Rooms were so so – can be called vintage – really need redecoration. Definitely you may expected much more. I did not like artificial flowers put at the tables on the halls. The worse part is a breakfast place. The hotel is pretty big whereas a breakfast place is so tiny (maybe 10 tables). No possibilities to serve variety of things – simple continental choices. The main advantage of the place is favorable location – close to Tienanmen (around 6 km), Sanlitun Bar Street (walking distance) and two coffee bars (Starbucks and Pacific Coffee). To sum up – hope the place is refreshed and improved soon.

This hotel is located in the centre of the City, all the sightseeing spots there can easily be reached. Rooms are spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom, however everything quite aged. Breakfast area is very small, but selection is quite o.k., in line with the 4 star hotel standard in CN. If you're looking for a acceptable overnight stay in a good location, this hotel could be recommended. If you're looking for a nice accomodation, there are better (but more expensive) choices.

We always stay in Choice Hotels and this one was great. It may be a bit outdated in decor but think "vintage". We had a two room suite with two bathrooms, two flat screen TV's.
The location was excellent. The staff spoke enough English and were helpful in getting us around. We even walked to the Silk Market, Ritan Park, Worker's Stadium, etc. Breakfast was included and outstanding ...a large Chinese buffet...omelets to order. Very near (a couple of blocks) the famous DaDong Peking Duck restaurant which is over the top excellent.
The only negative is that they do not have WiFi. Not a huge problem for us tho. Hotel is not hard to find but the driveway into it is tricky.
Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at this hotel several time between 2009-2012..i used to like this hotel , rooms are big although the furniture needs to be refurbished. Its really outdated and in every room I would have trouble stocking by clothing in the drawers as they would slide out but never in. I used to like it due to its proximity close to the shopping area and malls in Beijing, ,just a 5 min walk and no traffic hassle....breakfast served in a tiny cubicle like restaurant at the lobby.. about 8 table max that has to serve breakfast for all the hotel guest.it worked for me for a 2 night stay in Beijing over a weekend until that one night in July 2012, I found monster cockroach crawling under the room door..i rushed to the reception desk to ask for help and someone come over and get rid of it. and .guess what..??although they speak perfect English normally.....at this point..no one understood what this creature in my room could be....ok if the do not understand basic hotel a management and cleanliness concept.....then never stay there again for me comfort inn

I stayed there only one night.

The rooms are large and clean with many amenities.

Much cheaper than Marco Polo across the street, one class lower.

The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants around and with transportation also quite accessible.
