About 20km from the Beijing airport, which is a 75-100 Yuan taxi fare. Make sure you get a legit taxi, and that they use the fare meter rather than show you a laminated card that has a list of fares on it. Short walking distance to two major train stations, the Olympic village, shopping centres and restaurants. Friendly staff, they don't speak any English but they are happy to use translator apps on their smart phones. The rooms were clean and large, but as per most domestic hotels the beds and pillows were extremely hard. Breakfast was cheap and traditional Chinese of dumplings, soups, and hot cooked meats. My room had a humidifier and TV but no internet and was about AU$60 a night.
