Not as good as the pearl market, but worth a look. Great to get accessories for your phone or get it fixed. A small range of everything.

Xiu Shui Silk Market is a fun place to shop for big brand knock-offs, if you like bargaining. Relative to some other markets you might visit the silk market stalls are clean and neatly presented. Xi Shui is essentially 5 levels of glass cubicles full of bags, apparel, footwear, wallets & purses, jewellery, souvenirs and of course silk. The staff are pushy but not as outright aggressive as I have seen at some other markets. They will try to entice you into their cubicle because they can only do business with you once you cross their threshold. Start your negotiation at about 20% of their initial offer, don't take any price discussions personally, move up in small increments and you should pay well less than half any starting price. Buyer beware - all big brand items are fake. But you can buy quality fake or complete rubbish. Ask for 'number 1' quality and you will see a difference in what is offered.
The Silk Markets are located on the corner of Jiangguo men wai daije and Dongda Qiao lu in Soho about a 25min taxi ride east of Tian an men square. You can take the subway Line 1 (east - west) and get off at Yong'an Li.

Haggling is fun and you can get some good experience here. Not gonna lie, its a lot of the same. Most people have the same products over and over but that can help you get the best price for what you want. Several floors of clothes, antiques, electronics and more. This is a great market to visit.

Ladies, beware, do not use the services of Tony Tailor at the Silk Street Market. The suits were not ready as promised and did not fit. If you do decide to use them, pay attention to the invoice and receipt. They place the order date in the ready date and also, increase the price from what was negotiated upon check out on your Visa. They added over $150 USD to the final price. They are not to be trusted.

Only thing worth trying is have a dress or a suit made - nice quality silk at reasonable prices. the place is packed with tiny stores offering fake goods only. They start off at 1200 rub, and can go down to 100 for a leather fake bag. Beware of pickpockets!
