Terrible service, as foreigners were treated like third class customers.
They ignored Au as best as they could

I had a the recent pleasure of eating at Da Dong in Beijing. Our large party ordered many dishes and enjoyed them all. The duck is the star but the snow beef and house made yougurt were equally as good. While Da Dong is on the upper end of pricing as far as eats go in Beijing it is a wonderful experience with delicious food.

We visited this restaurant for our final Peking duck in Beijing. The restaurant is very fancy with nice decor and high class service. You can view the ducks cooking in the fire as they are prepared on order. The chef then carves the duck at your table. The duck tasted delicious. As it is a relatively up market restaurant the prices were high. They did however provide us with lychees for dessert as complimentary. The menu was massive, so many different dishes to choose from. We only had the duck between the two of us so I unfortunately can't comment on the quality of the other food. I would recommend this restaurant for great Peking duck in Beijing.

A must have when visiting Beijjng. Have been a fan for decades but each visit is still a treat and delight.

Since the first old restaurant, now it has developed into a class act, with the roasting oven right in the middle of the restaurant. You can see and smell your Peking duck being prepared , cooked and sliced right in front of you.

Excellent Peking duck, crisp, non fat, ah... that delicious taste lingers even after one leaves Beijing. And you long to return once again.

A short visit and for all three meals, I had Peking duck and the conclusion, Da Dong is a visual sensation, a culinary wonder which offers the best Peking duck in the world
