Whether you are looking for a business or personal trips in Beijing, China, then look nowhere. Ritz Carlton - Finanacial Street is your place. Everything there was perfect that I was speechless. All the staffs at the hotel really makes your stay so personal. They took care of everything for us. From check-in, luggage delay, side trips, to & fro airport etc are excellent. Rooms were clean and nice and bed made up when I returned from my outings. Bravo to Josephine and her staffs for their outstanding services!!!! Next trip to Beijing there's where I will be!!!

Upon entering the hotel you are immediately greeted by several hotel staff members and a complementary plum juice refresher. This set the theme for the entire stay. Best quality of service!

The room was large and had great views overlooking the surrounding area. The bathroom was to die for! Marble flooring and accents, oversized tub with jets, a glass shower with rainfall shower head, and the icing on the cake - a tv to watch while relaxing in the tub!

The pool was on the top floor and was long, perfect for doing laps. There were plenty of lounge chairs to sit and relax to enjoy the brightness of the room. There were floor to ceiling windows across the entire room.

The gym was on the same floor and had state of the art equipment. Plenty of water bottles and towels were available.

While I did not get a spa treatment I was still able to enjoy the spa. The showers, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were available for use. Very relaxing after a good workout.

The breakfast buffet was elaborate and near perfect! There was a fruit and cereal bar with the best museli I have ever had. There was a station for fresh eggs and other breakfast items, pancakes, bacon, sausage, etc. There was a deli section with salad, meat cuts and cheeses. There was a section for Japanese cuisine and also another station for Asian cuisine including hot pot and dim sum. Finally there was an elaborate bread and pastry section. Even after 4 days of the buffet I did not get tired of it. I would continue to go if I could.

The hotel also has a beautiful bar, a few restaurants and a cigar bar.

I highly recommend this hotel for high quality and any ammenity needed.

We had an amazing experience at this Hotel. Service is outstanding. Manager is aware of any single event that needs his intervention and promptly solves any single problem or friendly helps you out with suggestions, reservations, phone calls, greeting you by the door.
Room has a more tradicional decor. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is spacious and clean and all the amenities you expect in a RC are there.
Pool was recently renovated and my kids loved it !
Club room was totally worth it, with the french bread, french and asian food, champagne and a la carte menu.
We didn't walk around bc we had a private driver/guide picking us up every day. It was a short ride from all the local attractions. There's a mall 1 block away with top of the line european stores and local stores.
It's connected to the JW where pool isn't as private or comfortable.

If you are looking for a place where the staff takes it personal and makes it personal then the Ritz Carlton Beijing - Financial St. is for you.
My flight from Kunming, Yunnan province was delayed so instead of landing at 8 pm and heading to the Ritz my flight landed at 4:00 am the following morning. I emailed the hotel to let them know and they handled everything. Check-in took 2 minutes, my bags from my previous stay were in my room, the room was nice and cool and the bed was turned down and the bathroom ready.
Prior to falling into bed they called to let me know that housekeeping would skip my room that morning but would be in after I left the hotel at 1:30 pm so my room would be nice and clean when I returned.
I couldn't have been happier when I returned to my home away from home!!!! Josephine and her staff are outstanding!

The room (716) was spacious and generally nice, but our experience was marred by a section of the carpet being stained and constantly damp. It was just under the fire sprinkler so it looked as if that had been leaking. We've uploaded a photo of it.

The swimming pool was stylish but we thought it a little strange that we were made to wear swimming caps!

Fantastic place. Being a cigar fan, wherever I'm in the world I always look for a place to smoke a cigar in a nice environment - doesn't have to be a 5* but nice and classy. Cigar smoking is a new thing in China so any cigar store/lounge/bar is going to be a classy establishment where prices are high, same thing with Davidoff Lounge in Ritz Carlton - cocktails are fabulous, great selection of whisky's and rums but all come at western prices, and the wine list is meant to impress. Cigar prices are comparable to England - very high, ie. Montecristo Edmundo - expect to pay around 23 $/stick - opposed to 12-13$ in Germany or Spain. The lounge is kind of divided into 4 different parts - modern Zino Platinum, classy Winston etc. Expect to see a really exclusive clientele who are not afraid to swipe their credit cards and pay the top prices for the exclusive cocktails or wine from the best Chateau's in France. I enjoyed the place a lot not only because of the drinks or excellent service but also to be able to observe people from different parts of Asia and the world and their behavioral habits. The lounge is also equipped with microphones and touch-screens, proving that karaoke is entertainment suitable even for the Chinese rich and beautiful. Personally I don't care much for karaoke but I had a fabulous time watching others having time of their life singing to Elvis Presley or Madonna songs in pigeon English. Visited the lounge couple of times during my stay in Beijing and hope to come back again sometime in the future. Recommended

My husband and I stayed here as part of our river cruise tour. We were thrilled to have 2 sinks in the bathroom and a tub separate from the shower. Very secure as a key card is required to activate the elevator. We enjoyed the walk to the subway and there is a less-expensive shopping mall, and a grocery, near the subway entrance. Bottled water is provided in the room and we took that along on our walks. Breakfast was nice with Western choices as well as egg/omelet station. Chocolate croissants tasted like the ones in France! Free WiFi in the lobby with a fast connection. We found several restaurants across the street from the backside of the hotel. A park is also behind the hotel and one can join in Tai Chi in the early morning. Only negative is not within easy walking distance to tourist sites.
