My family of 5 arrived to be greeted by Ming and he showed us his apartment which was very clean and tidy and suprisingly quite large, what I really liked about staying here was that there were no Westerners around this area at all, and really had to try and communicate with the locals which was fun and a real eye opening experience for my kids aged 13.9,8. Just down stairs from the apartment is a little convenience store attached to the same building which also has a little bakery as well with some great little treats, and the market is very well priced(cheap) for all your requirements. A short walk down the road you will find some fantastic restaurants with some awesome food, this was a highlight for as during our previous 8 days through HK and Shanghai all my family would eat was Western food, now they get to try the original deal, and to thier surprised they absoluty loved it and again very cheap we had 12 dishes 8 cans of drink and I had a couple of beers and come in at $58 AUD. A short further down the road is the Subway which we would take into Beijing to do the tourist things - Silk st for shopping, Forbidden City etc. very easy to get around and again not expensive. All in all the location suited our needs and we were very comfortable but again the Chinese beds take some getting used too very hard. Ming was great on our departure date he drove us out to the international airport. The question is would I stay here again - yes.
