Great food and a little bit of Indian hospitality to share.
We have been going to the Delhi club for 5 years, it is on the must do list every HK visit. The food is always so good and Rajul the best host ever! We love him...
I'll be back again in November.
To find the restaurant come to TST exit C on the MTR, just diagonally opposite the exit is Chungking Mansions, find the guys giving out the restaurant name cards, they will guide you to the 3rd floor lifts, go with a group, it's a great night of fabulous food.

Thank Marcelle F

You will need to ask where it is, its in a tower block, don't be put off by the lift and surroundings, great food and service!

This is one of the most genuine eating experiences in Hong Kong and I have lived here for 10 years. The food is authentic and very reasonably priced. The beer is the cheapest you will find in a mainstream restaurant. The samosas are always a great start and then you have to have the Chicken Tikka (you get 5 pieces.) Chunking Mansions, where the restaurant is housed, is one of the most interesting buildings in Hong Kong. Read about it before you go. It is a melting pot for the world. Go up to the third floor in the lift rather than take the stairs. The stairs are confronting.
It's a genuine and cheap experience in a city full of over-hyped, expensive restaurants.

Been going to the Delhi Club Mess in Chunking Mansions for 20 years and always found it serves some of the best Indian we've eaten in Hong Kong.
Reasonable priced and extensive menu
The chicken tikka is brought to your table on a sizzling hot plate. The curries are excellent as are the nan breads. Beer is served by the 33cl bottle but is always cold.
The staff have always been friendly and remember regular visitors.
The lift up to the 3rd floor can be a pain as it always seems to be full; if you brave take the stairs up at the rear of Chunking. All in all well worth a visit for a decent curry

Service was good and so was the bread. However, the rice was sticky and the fried veggies only fair. The chicken dish we had (the one in the toimato sauce that was not supposed to spicy) had a spice and caused me to get sick.Plus the quality of the chicken used was not so great. I would not recommend this place.
