“Great Hotel.. but a little over priced.. Rooms not that great”
Reviewed 9 December 2013

Perfect Hotel , Super View, A little over priced. The smoking room was really bad. It had no separate door for the bathroom. Room was very tiny compared to the price paid. Location and breakfast was fantastic.

Room Tip: Do not take a smoking room

Service was good and location is a plus. A short walk to the starferry or the metro makes if a convenient place to stay.

Coming from the airport, there's free shuttle from the airport express directly to the hotel. Get the newly renovated rooms. The only negative thing for now is that the gym is under renovation and i had to go across to Hyatt to use their gym. Pool is a bit cold for swimming in winter.

We booked this hotel in Chinese New year to watch fireworks. The room was nice and clean. The floor offered to watch fireworks was excellent. The kids are very happy with the buffet breakfast. Definitely come back next year.

I used to stay at the JW Marriott for work, but I've switched to the Renaissance Harbour View for my stays in HK now. Its about half the price of the JW, and equally as good, if not better.

The views from the hotel are some of the best in HK, and at this price range it make this hotel the best value for money in HK.

The staff are great and if you're lucky enough to be able to go up to the executive loung the food is great and the views simply superb.

I will be going back.

We had been to the convention centre and were looking for a place to eat, there was a sign up saying from $118HK, so we went there, it was fabulous, and the cocktails absolutely beautiful. To finish off a wonderful meal, the desert was buffet style, and only $HK30, who could resist this? It was fabulous. The meals and 2 cocktails each came to alot more than $118, however it was well worth it, view is great too.

Great hotel with amazing location! If you find yourself going to and from Hong Kong and Kowloon, this hotel is the best place to stay at as the Star Ferry is a stones throw away. Business trip? The convention center is walking distance as well. A 10 minute walk will take you to the Wanchai MTR station. If you like to party, Lockhart Road is nearby and has a lot of pubs but the hotel has a lounge too if you don't feel like braving the streets at night.

The room is simple and modern but cozy. Though we didn't get the total harbour view (the water was barely visible between two buildings), we didn't mind. The neon lights of neighboring buildings were oddly comforting, like nightlights.
