The Star Seafood Restaurant is situated on the top floor of the shopping centre near the Star Ferry Terminal. It overlooks the Harbour. The atmosphere is one of laughter and a lot of
conversations going on. I ordered half a duck, pork buns, French wine. Although most of the
staff dont speak fluent English, a waitress, on seeing that I was eating with a spoon and fork,
brought over a sharp knife to assist me. How thoughtful. Desert was delicious (custard tart).
I asked for a coffee and once again the waitress did not understand me, so she sought out someone who spoke English.
The service was wonderful, the atmosphere had an air of complete friendliness (I was the only non Asian person there at the time) To top it off the bill was $38 Australian. So inexpensive for such a top location.
The food was superb and was my last meal before going to the airport and getting back home to Sydney. Barbara
