“Luxury”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Great hotel, staff are very attentive and go out of there way. Bathrooms are luxurious and the beds are very comfortable. We had a club room and it was a great retreat post a day of touring around. If you are looking for something special but not over the top which is classy give it a go. I normally stay on then central side so it was great to go to the Kowloon side for a change.

Room Tip: Ask for a club harbor room when you arrive

The hotel contacted me advance, several times, to confirm my arrival time. After not replying to their email, they became quite insistent..."we must know what time you are arriving because we are very busy". I finally replied with my 2:00 PM arrival time. Guess what? No rooms available, but they will upgrade me to a junior suite. Sounded good...except that upon entering the room, it was rather smelly from cigarette smoke. I decided not to make an issue of it since I was only staying one night.

Otherwise, the hotel was a decent Hyatt, everything you would expect. Try the ice cream/coffee shop at the street level!

This is one of the best properties in this part of Kowloon with a very convenient location as you have an entrance of the MRT subway (Tsim Sha Tsui) outside the main door (N1 & N2) besides having a Mall (K11) in the same building with a very good supermarket (Jason´s) in the basement. Besides that in K11 you have a lot of eateries, so you can avoid the very expensive prices at the hotel food outlets.

The room is well appointed, TV works well but in my case, the A/C was a bit noisy. Internet is free of charge for guests but they have this ridiculous set up where you need to register again after 4 hours. If you spend some time in the room it becomes a bit annoying.

Breakfast is quite good since the selection available is broad, so you really have a lot of choices to choose from.

Overall is a good property if you don´t mind to stay in this very crowded part of town and hopefully someday their internet connection will last at least 24 hours.

I have been the first time of the Kowloon side expecting a 5*hotel. First surprise : They don't have a hotel entrance as one is used from the Hongkong side. I had to to up to the 3rd floor I believe where you have the reception desk. The quality of the reception staff like in any five star luxury hotel: fast, efficient and friendly. The rooms are rather small but comfortable. Very clean. The aircon is a problem : Even on low fan it is still rather noisy. As asked to change the room at 11pm and got a better one within 20 min.
Hotel restaurant loud and packed. same goes for breakfast. but good food quality
Good feature : The hotel provides mobile phones assigned to the room incl. web. very convenient in Hongkong.
MTR station across the road.
Very good value for money

We had a great stay. Location was good for the MRT. I don't understand how other guests get lost accessing the hotel.

The breakfast buffet was great but the cereal choices for kids wasn't very good. I don't recall any children's meals on the room service menu either. The room is ok for a few nights but if you have a lot of luggage it is cramped. The bed didn't feel like the usual Hyatt plush bed either. Free bottled water was great.

The absolute bonus was the free smart phone. We made so much use of this and was a real bonus for keeping in touch with sick relatives back in Australia. The limo service from the hotel was well worth the money after the flight from Australia with an air sick child.

I stayed at Hyatt Regency Hotel Tsim Sha Tsui for my vacation. It was very convenient to walk around via the subway to have shopping and see the light show at night. The swimming pool and sauna was very comfortable to enjoy. It was close to Macau ferry station. The hotel service was great. When I left the hotel with many luggages, the staff was very kind to arrange the taxi to the airport.
