The room we had was TINY, but it had enough space for sleeping, the whole hotel was very clean, and the staff was very helpful. The location is fantastic (a short uphill hike from the MTR, near both touristy things & local attractions), and for the price, it's a really really great deal.

The bed is abit small for 2 adults. Toilet is about 2sq metre. Can't even close the toilet door if you sit on the toilet bowl. Air con is noisy too. No privacy with the transparent toilet door.
Location is good. Free wifi. You need to pay a fee if you need to deposit your luggage for overnight.

Yes the hotel is at a perfect location in the central area. 2 minutes walk to MRT station (central), and 2 minutes walk to bus station where it takes you to airport(E11, in front of MrT station entrance).
So inside the hotel, as far as we have seen, thr lobby area is very nice, but the room was very hard to move around. The room in total was 6 sq meters i think, including the bath and toilet. It was very har for two people to move around. Also there is no curtain between the toilet and the room, so you can see an hear what your roommate is dealing with:)

For reader reference, a friend and I stayed in our separate rooms (double room).
We 're both 30yrs old and about 5"3 tall and not overweight.
I state our dimensions because this place is just a studio room with a bed.
It is true, there is only ~60cm L formation walking space along the bed to the TV.
The bathroom/toilet is glass, so be sure to stay with a partner!
We were out all day/night so space was not our concern.
I did notice later that the bed was quite hard but again, I was that tired every night, it didn't bother me.
Where are windows but I had the blinds down because you end up just looking at more windows on the adjacent building.

I found this place perfect because:
-It was so close to everything in Central
-The walk to Peak Tram, Central Station and the drinking hot spots are within minutes walk
-It was clean
-Uses minimalist-contemporary interior design - white with glass to open up small spaces
-Good lobby hangout area
-Free WiFi connection was FANTASTIC
-The shower was spacious
-The water pressure was good
-A/C was so effective being in such a small room, I had to turn it off at times!
-The vending machine in the lobby had good snacks and sold the correct power adapter.

Minor downsides:
-The sink is so tiny that water goes everywhere
-Walls are thin - you can hear conversations and other... noises..... in the neighbouring rooms.
-To get to Mini Central, there is no way to avoid the hills.
From Central station on foot:
Ice House st route is a bit longer but just as steep.
Wyndham st is shorter but there are extremely steep set of stairs to climb.

I would definitely stay here again.
Safe travels!

It's a little unfair to criticize this hotel on the basis of room size, since dimensions are clearly listed on the website, but the absolutely tiny rooms are the defining feature of this hotel. I've stayed in very small rooms in cities like London and Paris, but this was in an entirely different (and smaller!) league. I would certainly recommend you travel light, as there are no cupboards or hanging space, although smaller luggage can be crammed under the bed (where a slide-out safe is also located. On the subject of beds, ours was pretty firm as it was simply a mattress on a timber base. It's probably best if you are neither large nor shy, as the combined shower/toilet is minute and separated from the rest of the room by a clear glass partition. You'll struggle to turn around in the shower/washbasin space - don't drop the soap! - and shutting the toilet door necessitates sitting sideways on the toilet. On the plus side, the location was, as the name says, central, the rooms were very clean and the sub-$100 per night price was great in an area where most hotels are over $400 and even the YMCA's price was sky-high. An endless stream of taxis travelled down Ice House Street day and night, so finding transport was as easy as walking out the door and raising your arm. The small but well-furnished lounge next to reception was very nice and well-used, given that guests spent as little time in their rooms as possible during waking hours.

Room Tip: Look carefully at room size advice on the website. Like George Orwell's animals, all rooms are...

Rooms very small: bed and 60 cm passes from two sides; glass wall and shower with a toilet; there is a mirror along a bed with that a visually to increase the room. But there is no any mirrors in toilet room (it is necessary to have a shave being kneeling on a bed). Bags can be placed under a bed, in the same place there is a safe. There are a small table-shelf and a shelf on a wall along all bed, hooks for clothes on a wall, the LCD TV, a hair dryer, an electric kettle, paper cups. Windows are present, but are useless (look from a shower to the windows another building) and are closed by a roller curtain. Our conditioner either whistled air or hooted the bearing at power reduction. But sound insulation, apparently, the very worthy.
The hotel very conveniently is located. In 10-15 minutes by foot there are subway, the express in the airport, the ferry pier, a botanical garden, the peak tram, a Hard&Rock Cafe and a many of other cafes. The personnel is precautionary. Smoking is forbidden.

I really recommend this hotel to all travellers who doesn't expect too much from their hotel. It was really clean, the staff was really helpful and the location was perfect. It was in the middle of the city. Only negative thing I can say about the location is that it is located in very steep hill. There is a couple ways to walk to the hotel but both has lots of stairs. But if you want to stay in the city you are going to climb a lot of stairs anyway.
The room was the smallest I have ever been in! There isn't any space for luggage so you have to place them in front of the door or under the bed. The toilet / shower was kind of weird because it had glass walls so if you are travelling solo it is not a big deal but as a couple it can be a little weird. Bed was actually really good and there wasn't any noise in the room. Afterall it is really nice hotel and worth the price I had paid.
