“Fantastic value for a 5 star hotel”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

Situated on the harbour front I was amazed at the quality of this hotel. I would expect to pay twice the price in London and probably not get the same service. Every member of staff were polite and extremely helpful. Food was first rate and there was more than enough choice. I do not think that there was anything I could fault with the hotel at all.
If there was a little thing that was slightly annoying if you were hoping for a lay in then although nothing to do with the hotel, building work next door had a pile driver going from 8am.

Room Tip: Harbour view worth the extra but don't forget the pile driver

Although I have visited Hong Kong a number of times, this was the first visit to this hotel. From check in to check out this was an excellent stay. The hotel was very clean & welcoming plus the staff were first class and you are very near to the transport system

Very easy check in. Connecting rooms for us and our kids. Granted late check out luxury lobby more than excellent staff
Go for the club rooms. Sea view. Can't describe the lounge you have to see to believe. One of the most beautiful lounge I ever see. Once you are in you get to say waaawo good fresh breakfast staff are happy if you have good appetite and eat more.

Afternoon tea and evening cocktails are excellent with champagne as well
Best location.free Shuttle bus to downtown I am still here. Very grateful to all staff especially club floor and of course raise the hat for the management. Thank you harbour grand

Great hotel, very helpful staff where nothing is too much trouble. Some rooms have great views of Hong Kong but are quite small. Fixtures are modern and comfortable if small. My only issue with this hotel was the location. The great part is that it It is close to public transport and is situated on the harbour so some rooms have great views however, the streets surrounding the hotel are filled with mechanics and rubbish disposal sites so it's kind of like beautiful hotel meets slum streets to be honest, not pretty at all. I had a massage at the spa which was lovely but it was very expensive, even for a hotel spa. Breakfast were fantastic, every taste was covered. Some meals in the lobby lounge were delicious but our steak was stone cold and not nice. Also to note is the restaurant and bar area on level 41, fabulous and amazing views on clear nights!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with odd numbers like 1221 or 925 as these rooms get better views of the harbour.

The Hotel es well located. Considering the fact that this city has de best system of public transportation in the world, if one is close to metro station, one is close to everything in H.K. Harbour Grand is only two blocks away from Fortess Hill metro station. The Hotel has a beautiful view of the harbour and Kowloon, but if you are looking for the best view of Jong Kong, then you need to saty on the other side (on the shores of kowloon).
This hotel has a very nice swiming pool, decent gym, and restaurants, what makes it very comfortable.
Definetly do not recommend it´s breakfast buffet, eventhough is quite large and has it´s variety, it is poorly cooked, and considering this, it is very costly. Hong Kong offers better dining at this price.
The room was very comfortable, roomy and modern, with a beatiful view of Kowloon and the Harbour. This hotel offers upgrades for Expedia Elite clients without extra charge, but you have to mention this when checking in. The service is good and efficiente. Hotel is well cared for all public areas, confortable and clean.
Hong Kong is a vibrant city with a lot to see and do. These are some recomendations on how to spend your valuable time:
-Go to the Intercontinental Hotel in Kowloon in the evening, to have a drink and enjoy one of the best panoramics views, the romantic return of the sanpangs, and the lights show. later go for a walk on the Avenue of the Stars.
-Visit the Big Buda in Lantau Island, using the funicular from Tung Chung. This is one of experiences that can no be missed. On the way back, explore the Tung Chung outlet mall, where you can find good prices for some top brands.
-If ye have time, go to some of the fishing islands, the time runs is a different way.

Harbour Grand, Hongkong is an Economical Hotel to Stay in Hongkong Main Island. The Rooms are very Small, with Two people in a room you are left with very little space to move.
The Breakfast is Excellent, Comparable with any Good brand Name Hotel LIke Hyatt or Marriott, and they do take care of the guests. There are Indian Vegetarian options also in the Buffet breakfast.
The Odd Part is the Location, its a bit far from all Attractions. You would need to take a Train to goto Central or Admirality. All the Action in Hongkong is Around Central, so if you dont mind taking a Train then you can consider this hotel. The Fortress Hill MTR is just few hundred meters away.
There are FastFood Chains around like Burger King, McDonalds and Starbucks.
And Whenever you Take a Taxi - Always Say Harbour Grand, Hongkong (Oil Street). Their Kowloon property is more famous than the Hongkong property.

Room Tip: Sea View Rooms Give you a Nice Harbour View.

Beautiful hotel. So clean and shiny everywhere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely room over looking Victoria Harbour, and breakfast with just about the best view in the world!
Useful shuttle bus service everyday, but taxis are cheap so easy to get around.
Would love to stay here again some day.
