yesterday, the room in 11/F is so noisy, I ask receptionist too help me, he tell me that he is busy in doing reservation, reception job and that noise can from the fan machine on the roof.

However, he still say he can use his money to pay for the noisy interruption and don't want to give any trouble to manager and boss. I apprenticate that.

I am happy that staff can use his own money to help the boss in the hotel to save money. If I am the HR, I will recruit him.

By the way, I am sorry that I will not stay in this hotel again as I find that this hotel is cheating the tourist money.

Room Tip: cheating hotel , but have good staff. As staff want to help company to pay for the compensation of noisy

Basic hotel & room size is normal for Hongkong mid range hotels standard. As I was traveling alone, the room size is more than enough. But if there is 2 paxs in the room together with bags, the space might be tight.
Location is in Prince Edward area which has many interesting things but the hotel is located off the tourist area. From the MTR stn, the walk to the hotel takes about 10-20mins.

And if you take the Airbus A21, the walk from the bus stop is quite long as well.
If you have to located the hotel, try and take note of a big fire station which is direct opp the hotel.

First of all: most hotel rooms in Hong Kong are fairly small; secondly: all hotels are relatively expensive in Hong Kong; thirdly: the hotel is located in Mongkok, which is the working class neighbourhood, but certainly it is close enough to the MTR station to access other parts of the city too. In this context, the hotel and room catered just fine our stay, five nights in late December. Me and my friend shared a double room, which really was very small, but like others have mentioned here before, you only come to the hotel room to sleep and shower, so it was adequate.

Some of the reception staff were quite clueless and didn't speak much english, but some staff members were helpful and friendly, your experience depends really on who you come across there. Now there was Wifi in the room too, though they didn't advertise it in the hotel info, I had to go the reception and ask for it. But it worked just fine.

A word about the neighborhood, Mongkok, in general; although Hong Kong Island has all the trendy shops, restaurants and bars and most expats seem to reside there, this part of the city seems more authentic. Mongkok houses small local restaurants or eateries on every street corner, they're nothing fancy but very cheap and most of the time we were the only westerners in there. The street markets are also a short walk away from the hotel, if you like them. When you get tired of the basic fish ball noodle soup, take the MTR and head to the Island for a cocktail or a pint and more sophisticated dinner :)

Stayed for 4 nights, very small room, location is good, very near Prince Edward MTR station, working distance to all the shopping area in Mongkok, acceptable if you want just a basic place to sleep & shower.

We were there for 4 days 3 nights. Room and toilet are really quite small but the beds are very comfortable. No WiFi in room only at lobby area. Hotel is 5 mins walk from Prince Edward MTR station and 15 mins walk to Mongkok area.
