“Get your passes online, and get the cheapest.”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

This place is pretty overrated. As compared to the Madame Tussauds in Bangkok, there are less wax figures in here. Pretty much half an hour and it's done. A good advice is to purchase your passes online and take the cheapest if you are still up for a visit. A good place to start off your day after breakfast.

“overrated!”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

was hoping for an amazing visit but it was SO overrated. Many of the figures don't so that real and well know pp like Jacky Chan and Obama (you can not take the picture yourself...you must pay them to take the picture for you) - rip off!

“Hey there, Mr. Mao!”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

Probably everybody knows the catch of Madame Tussauds - The main attraction is of course wax figure collection with past and present actors, sports stars, politicians and Marvel comics figures incl. e.g. Barack Obama, Mao Zedong, Hitler, Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, Marilyn Monroe, Johnny Depp, Cristiano Ronaldo, Incredible Hulk etc.

I genuinely enjoyed our visit here and we had very good time during ~1,5-2h visit. Recommended to buy ticket early to get discounts (or use your octopus card to pay peak tram & admittance to Tussauds down in the city on peak tram station).

“Can't take your own Jackie Chan pic”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

They do not allow you to take a picture with Jackie Chan with your own camera. They use their camera and you have to buy their pictures. The selection of "wax" figures were ok. Lots of famous Hong Kong stars. I heard the figures here aren't really wax but fiberglass. I might be wrong. Also, I felt the staff could do better to control some visitors who are rather rude and pushes their way around and blocking pictures.

“SMALL BUT INTERESTING”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

Madame Tussauds HK is quite small but is none the less interesting. If you are not planning on travelling anywhere else to see a wax museum than it is worth while to see the wax models which are quite fascinating. The kids loved having their photos taken with "stars" and all in a lll we had a good fun time.
