Here now, empty restaurant but still waited 45 minutes for gross food. Eggs Benedict are served with Bernaise sauce rather than hollandaise, hash brown still frozen in the middle and the mushrooms taste like gone off date... Not my first time here but definitely my last. Oh, And it's expensive too

My husband and I stopped in for dinner on a whim and were presently surprised. The Turkish bead and Greek salad were amazing which is hard for something to simple. The udon with beef was wonderful. The only thing that was just ok we're the lobster nachos. Service was extremely attentive also so we will be back for sure!!

Our family of 4 adults and 2 children, ages 7 & 5 had dinner here recently on a Saturday night.
We arrived sometime before 6.30 and the restaurant was empty, not always a good sign.
We were seated promptly, menus given and water brought straight away.
The children ordered from the kids menu, the adults ordered tomato soup of the day for one, as well as 2 different vegetarian risotto dishes, lamb and a tuna salad. The waiter returned soon after to say that they had no tuna so that order was changed to a burrito.

Whilst the food was brought promptly and was all served hot, there was no salt or pepper on the table, and we weren't asked if we wanted any. At no stage were we asked how the meals were.

The children's meals included ice-cream that was brought when we asked.

We felt the restaurant lacked atmosphere, food over-priced and the waiters seemed a little indifferent, but above all the Christmas background music was simply too loud, and affected reasonable conversation.

With so many restaurants to choose from in Hong Kong we won't return here.

Visited the Happy Valley restaurant and had a bad experience. Had a really good meal in the Soho branch a few weeks ago, so was expecting great things. Restaurant was empty, no atmosphere, staff inattentive, food terrible. Won't be returning!!

Jaspas is essentially split in two, the larger area on the left is the restaurant and the smaller area on the right is the bar area where you can still order food but in a bar atmosphere with high chairs etc… Having passed Jaspas a few times it was always very busy and we initially popped in for a drink, since it was Happy Hour this then turned into a few drinks.

The beer was cold and half price and the cocktails were well mixed and again half price, good deal and a nice atmosphere!

We ended up spending a while here and had a look at the menu which heavily featured Mexican food and Chinese food. After a few drinks we asked about a table and the restaurant was full, we didn’t fancy eating at the table we had so decided we would head out into Soho for a drink and then return in a while. Which we did and managed to get a table a few hours later in what was still a packed restaurant. All good signs.

We spotted the massive portions of Nachos going by and went for the Lobster (my wife has developed this very expensive habit) nachos. When they arrived the portion was massive and had large bits of lobster mixed in…or was it? We were both a little skeptical as to whether it was Lobster or chopped up prawn. Either way it was tasty and plentiful and the price wasn’t much more than chicken or beef so I cant complain without concrete proof. We it all anyway!

For mains I had some chicken satay fried rice affair and my better half had chicken fajitas. My rice came covered by a full fried egg which was a little odd but the soft egg worked well with everything on the plate. The sizzling fajitas also went down a storm.

Jaspas is very busy and entirely worth a try, if you have a large party I would suggest booking or going early or quite late.
