“Awesome view and environment :)”
Reviewed 13 May 2014 via mobile

Checked in after disneyland trip and we took mtr from disneyline to sunny bay and change a bus from qing yi mtr station. Missed the stop, however able to walk from the ferry terminal. For the location, I would rate it abit lower then the service and all the others.

Though we are tired, we had an awesome sunset view of the sea, beach and the bridge that connect qing yi to ma wan. This view was sufficient to cover for the slight inconvenient location. This was so different from the city (mongkok & central) areas! Spacious, clean and leisurely :)

There was a few food choices within the premises of the resort, some thai and western restaurants nearby the beach area. We ate at harvest restaurant which was the resorts only food place at night. The food was okay, passable :)

The resort bedroom is also awesome! Spacious, clean and had a very very clear view of the lighted up bridge at night ♥

With a newborn named Noah, how could we not spend the afternoon visiting the Noah's Ark resort? Finding a coupon in the magazine given by our hotel sealed the deal, and so we set off. First off, getting there. It was easy enough, taking the train from our hotel to the Central Station, and then walking over to pier 2. The ferry was a nice 45 minute ride to Park Island, and we were there!

The island itself is pleasant enough, and we discussed that next time we'd love to go and spend a couple of days there. As other reviewers have noted, there are a blessed few vehicles on the island, which is a treat after the hustle and bustle of the city. There are little cafes, coffee shops, and a little beach to enjoy before you even get to the ark, which is a short walk away from the ferry terminal.

The best thing for us, which isn't necessarily the best thing for the resort, was that the park wasn't mobbed like Disney or Ocean Park. Maybe people are scared away by the fact that it's a park based on a Bible story? If so, they really shouldn't be. There was surprisingly little spiritual talk in the displays. The displays dealt with what life would have been like on the ark, how they might have fit the animals, attempts by a variety of explorers to find the ark (that should be the subject of the next Indiana Jones movie, Mr. Speilberg...), the importance of protecting animals, the importance of protecting the earth, etc. There was a bit of talk about the reason for the flood being the sinfulness of humanity, but not so much. Actually, I would like to have seen more of a spiritual component!

In our opinion, the ark is great for families of younger children, as they would be entranced by the animals displayed out in the garden. There is also a playground for kids, and a gift shop filled with all sorts of animal and ark knickknacks. But if you stay on the island, older kids will enjoy swimming on the beach, and hanging out at the coffee shop down the street. Both ages will be amazed by the sheer scale of the ark replica itself.

The Noah's Ark park was very clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful, giving us a stroller to use for little Noah, and helping us track down a lost baseball hat. If you don't like massive crowds, it's a great option as well. If you're looking for something different to do in Hong Kong, it's a great choice!

My family enjoyed our stay in the resort. Iam impressed at how they are able to maintain the cleanliness of the place. The simple buffet breakfast is enough to make you full. A little variation on the choices is done everyday. Buses that go from and to the airport pass by the resort as well as those that will bring you to the mtr station. Buses straight to mongkok are also available at scheduled times. The dormitory room that we got for our accommodation is spacious enough for all 8 of us adults plus the two kids who share bed with their parents. The beach is also a plus factor. We feel so safe inside the resort. Free Wifi connection is so strong even inside our room. The only inconvenience is the stairs that you have to go through from the front door up to the hotel especially if you have your luggages to carry. But over all, I could say this is a resort worth coming back to.

I had a pleasant stay at Noah's Ark Resort. This is housed in an Eco-island where taxis and cars are not allowed in and the only transport are a few bus services, which is in serviced for 24 hours. If you are really into traveling with MTR then this resort is not for you.
This resort has all the decor to remind us to be environmentally friendly. The room is large, in comparison to any standard room in HK city. I found my stay to be very refreshing. So peaceful, nice view, extremely helpful staffs-willing to take the time to explain to us our route to our next destination, within a small theme park, next to a lovely beach and with a really nice view of a floating bridge, connecting Ma Wan and Tsing Yi. Room service was good and the food were tasty with large portions!
Minus points were the little variety of food for breakfast as well as not accessible to convenience stores, though there is a pantry room with vending machines.
Overall if you want some peace in your trip, this is really a good place to stay.

I chose this place to stay for two nights according to what i found in the reviews in Tripadvisor.
1. how to get there from airport:
you have to go to Terminal 2 in Hotel/ coach bus station. Find gate 27-28 to wait for NR334 bus. You have to pay in the bus. The flat fare is HKD22/person. Not sure about using Octopus card. It does not take too long to wait. Maybe 10minutes. The trip from airport to the resort takes about 20-30minutes.
2.how to get to the lobby hotel
This is very tricky. I arrived at about 9pm with big suitcases. It was already dark. No clues where to go. Finally found it. Just take the elevator goes down to the cafe strip (cafe Roma, Oma's kitchen). Walk straight to go the an entrance that has stairs to go up and one security guard standing by. Walk again straight to an entrance beside The Harvest Restaurant. Take an elevator up to the Lobby. I found it easier to find the entrance in the daylight.
3.The 4bunk bed bedroom
Same level with the lobby.
Clean bed. Firm mattress (i love it). Separate shower and toilet. 2 basins. Good pressure shower. No complain.
4.A wonderful view.
While having a breakfast in The Harvest, you will also enjoy the beautiful view of Tsing Ma bridge and surroundings.
I would like to return to this resort again. Budget hotel but good quality hotel, superb view, easy public transport. Just the entrance is the one I complained
