Having spent a pretty nice evening there one Friday night for after hour drinks with a few people, I went back the next night with 7 people. 4 people in our group ordered drinks while the other 3 did not because we had been drinking all day and they were on pause. At some point, the waitstaff told the individuals who had not ordered that they had to each order a drink. It was their policy that each person had to order something. They left because it was quite frankly very rude and when I spoke with the manager, her reasons for requiring every person to order something was 1. They did not charge cover so everyone should buy a drink (I told her that most bars in HK don't charge cover) 2. They run a business. I pointed out that a few of the girls were on their second round of drinks - and it was offensive to push people who wanted to hang out with their friends to drink, and the reply was, we run a business. Go on running your business - you lost ours and the 6 friends who were going to join us until this incident.
