Tai Yuen Seafood Restaurant is a family owned restaurant located in a small fishermen village: Sow Kwu Wan, on Lamma Island, Hong Kong. You can easily get to the village pier by taking a fast ferry from pier No. 4 from Hong Kong Island (to reach the pier use MTR to Central station and walk 5 minutes). The ride from pier to pier takes about 35 minutes and you can enjoy the beautiful views of Hong Kong harbor and city. The restaurant serves big variety of fresh seafood, beer and wines. Three sisters manage the restaurant and serve the guests. The service is very efficient and friendly. The food portions are very generous. After trying several other restaurants in the island Tai Yuen Seafood Restaurant became my favorite place for fresh seafood dishes in Hong Kong. In the last seven years Tai Yuen became my "local restaurant" out of home (I visit the place on every biasness trip to HK). My favorites are the oysters in garlic with rice noodles, fried garlic shrimps and fried calamari. You should have a table near the sea and enjoy the breeze.
