Directly linked to the Causeway Bay MTR station, you can find one of Hong Kong's best shopping malls. Like Pacific Place mall near Admiralty MTR station, Time Square shops are generally of the mid to high range variety. The higher the floor, the more expensive the brand ranges you'll find.

What we liked about our latest visit to Time Square was the interesting Barbie exhibit that anchored their Christmas theme, making a surprisingly effective contribution to the holiday atmosphere. Locals and visitors alike, were enjoying the setup. We must admit that our camera's snapping as well, even as locals!

Overall, we feel Time Square is one of the top five shopping malls in Hong Kong and is well worth a visit, along with the nearby streets of Causeway Bay, if you intend to do some shopping while visiting HK. Like other malls, its a nice place to visit during the holiday seasons when seasonal decor provided for your additional enjoyment. You'll find 9 floors of shops, plenty of nice coffee stops to rest of your feet as well as a few places to eat on the 11th floor - although we don't normally eat here, preferring what is available street level in Causeway Bay and nearby Wan Chai.

Times Square is the most popular place in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong to watch the New Year countdown. The square is not big and surrounded by many malls, shops, and streets, it would be a crazy crowded place on New Year Eve. A bigger and better place to watch the New Year countdown is Tsimshatsui and the Wan Chai harbour front.

Good shops and the new escalators were a great idea. Still a long queue for the lifts to the restaurants though.

If you wonder why all these people line up for elevators, under the big TV, they are all going up to eat lunch or dinner, on the 10th to 13th floors, full of restaurants, all kind of Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, American, hot pot, Korean bar-b-que , steak or ribs, sea food or pizza, Dim Sum (lunch hour) and Sushi, if they put you on waiting list, try next door or the next floor, we always find a restaurant that just walk right in, of course all these restaurants are not cheap, it's not a food court nor fast food, maybe after day of walking, you deserve to sit down to relax, treat yourself a real meal.

The Times Square mall is one of Hong Kong's premier shopping hubs, and rightly so. The moment you step off the Causeway Bay MTR station, you know this place is not easy on the wallet. The shops are your typical high end retailers, and it's not unusual to see browsers than shoppers. The interior of the mall is luxurious, and you'll be overawed.
