I stayed here as a couple and we loved it. The room was small, but it's HK and the room sizes are listed so I'm not sure why people are complaining! We thought is was a decent enough size.

Modern décor and very clean. The staff were very helpful. Wifi was good, even on the top floor. There are some decent views from the pool deck on the roof.

Hotel itself is in a great spot right near the fresh food markets. We found it very convenient for transport and local attractions.

We did briefly hear the people next door to us, but I think that was a case of them being loud as we could hear them in the hall way too.

Staff were friendly too.

All in all we thought it was a great place to stay and would recommend it to anyone!

Yes, you have to walk in an alley to get to the entrance of the hotel, but hey its not a creepy alley. there is a lot of stores near by where you can buy food (delicious food), water, snacks, etc. it is also near the market place where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables. you just have to cross the street and you are already in time square where you can shop, it is also near MTR so its really easy to transport. about the space of the room, yeah its a bit small but hey, it's Hong Kong and the room is really nice..

Dear madam

Thank you very much for your compliment on the hotel location. First, there are a number of convenience stores where guests can buy snacks and drinks. Second, there are hundreds of retails and restaurants in Times Square and the area nearby where guests can enjoy shopping and dining. Travelers can reach different parts of the city and numerous attractions by MTR subway. Location convenience is indeed one big advantage of the hotel.

We look forward to warmly welcoming you again in the near future.

I love the location of the hotel. Just across the street, there's a nice restaurant which I ate at 12.30am, the taste is amazing. There're a few dessert shops around there too. All are nice. The view is cool. However, the room is a bit small anyways it's Hongkong :)

Dear guest

It is great to learn about your compliment on our location convenience. There are hundreds of restaurants and bars in Causeway Bay. People consider this district a dining paradise where travelers can enjoy different cuisines at different price ranges.

Most of our rooms have nice view of the city and Times Square especially those rooms on high floors between 16th to 39th floor.

You are right. Space is indeed a luxury in Hong Kong.

May I thank you again for your valued comments. We look forward to warmly welcoming you again in the near future.

strange location and entrance - located in a back alley and with very discrete markings. the shuttle bus dropped us off around the corner, a porter met the bus and walked us down the alley... to the registration desk. staff were friendly and pleasant. room was VERY small and the price was a bit high in comparison. no soundproofing - at 2 am i could hear the conversation in the next room as if they were in mine.
located close to raw food market, which was interesting to experience. also close to times square which i did not find in my walking about. I was on the 36th floor where the elevator rarely came to... long waits.

Dear guest

Thank you very much for your comment posted on Tripadvisor.

The hotel is conveniently located in Causeway Bay with a minute’s walk to bus and tram station and three minutes’ walk to Times Square which is a scaled shopping mall with many retail stores and restaurants. Because the hotel building is not right in the main road, it avoids a lot of noise from traffic.

Thank you for your compliment on our friendly service. Our service team from bell assistant, front desk officer to room attendant has friendly attitude and are always delighted to look after our guests with heart.

There are occasions when some guests speak too loud or turn on volume high while watching television. Our assistant managers are always delighted to help should we receive any requests for assistance like the case mentioned.

The hotel building has three elevators which is good enough for a mid-scale hotel. I believe it is the period between 8:00 to 9:15 am when guest traffic will be busy which might take a little longer for the lift service.

May I thank you again for your valued comments. We look forward to warmly welcoming you again in the near future.

Yours sincerely

Rooms were small, very small, very very small - living area may be about 100 sq ft - wash room could be 30 sq. ft. Staff honest to their work - but a little smile does not harm anybody. The hotel lobby is in the 3rd floor and there are 2 elevators from ground floor - which is likely to cause a crowd waiting for the elevators. On upper floors the corridor could be 4 ft wide - so if your room is right in front of elevator - expect noise. Breakfast is fine - no reason for complaint - but basic. Location is great and you can always step out of hotel and have many options round the corner. If you are looking for a lace to sleep and not to spend some time - for the price the hotel is a steal. Just a note of caution - if you are around 1.8 meters or above - you head may hot the ceiling in the shower and if your width is above 110 cm - you may get stuck in the pot! I am talking about baic room - check for the room you book - sure all rooms are not like these.

Dear guest

Thank you for your comment posted on Tripadvisor.

Our room size is more than 130 square feet. Guestrooms of similar class of hotels in similar location are relatively small. Space is indeed a luxury especially in prime area such as Causeway Bay.

We serve American buffet breakfast and provide food items such as apple and orange juice, five hot dishes, cereals, green salad, toast, Danish pastry and yogurt and of course coffee and tea.

Most of the guests coming to Hong Kong do not stay long in their room because they enjoy most of their time for fun in Hong Kong. Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are two great places where one could enjoy great food and fine wine with good value. Causeway Way is one of the most popular shopping paradises in Hong Kong.

We have a good number of corporate travelers who stay more four weeks a time due to its convenient location and easy access to most of the business district such as Wanchai, Causeway Bay, Admiralty, Central, to name a few.

We look forward to the opportunity to serving you again.

Yours sincerely

The Hotel we normally go was fully booked and others in the same category too so we eventually found two rooms here. Reception: time consuming, slow and kinda not so professional. Rooms: small, old, smelly. Breakfast: almost zero choice and poor quality too. That's it. Let's add if you stay like us for two days and eventually just need to sleep a few hours per night then it's more than acceptable. I for sure wouldn't want to stay there for a week.

Dear guest

Thank you for your comment posted on Tripadvisor.

I guess you checked in during the periods between 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm or 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm when they are usually peak hours for check in and check out. Usually, we have three to four guest service officers and assistant manager to stand by and look after our guests. Normally it takes only 5 to 8 minutes time to register for guests unless the hotel has tight situation in the morning when the night before running more than 95% occupancy.

Guestrooms of similar class of hotels in downtown are relatively small especially in prime location such as Causeway Bay. Like most of the key cities, space is indeed a luxury in Hong Kong.

We serve American buffet breakfast. Our service counter provides apple and orange juice, five hot dishes, cereals, green salad, toast, Danish pastry and yogurt and of course coffee and tea.

We aim at delivering friendly, efficient, location convenience and value for money service to our guests which most of our guests appreciate.

We look forward to the opportunity to serving you again.

Yours sincerely

Whilst we were forewarned that the rooms were ridiculously small, even for Hong Kong standards, the customer service was very disappointing! The front desk staff was always curt to the point of unfriendliness. Lighting is insufficient in the room, the ornate chandelier offers very little light. A couple of bedside lamps could have been installed easily to remedy this problem. Check that your room rate doesn't go up in the middle of your stay due to the start of the exhibitions; we were not informed of this before we checked in. Also bring your own clothes hangers as there aren't many.

Dear madam

Thank you for your comments on Tripadvisor.

In fact, we have a good number of comments on friendly service. Despite, we have taken your comments seriously and shared with the service team for improvement. From time to time, we have briefing the team to reinforce the importance of guest service and practice to serve our guests better.

We appreciate your comments on lighting. The hotel management is addressing the issue and working on the improvement plan. We have recently changed the light bulb on chandelier on 30% of the guest rooms and are pleased with the improvement. Phase two will soon start and we are aiming at the completion by end of November or December.

The hotel provides enough number of hangers in each guest room and our housekeeping department is ready to provide more should our guest request for it.

Might I thank you for your comments again and our team will continue its effort to provide friendly and efficient service in a convenient location.

Yours sincerely
