This hotel is a short stroll to Sheung Wan MTR which is an excellent way to get around Hong Kong.

I booked a Business Suite and was upgraded on check-in to a Platinum Suite, which for Hong Kong was HUGE! They could have cut off the living/kitchenette area and I would still have been happy with the size of the room.

The room was spotless, tidy and modern. The staff were friendly and could help with advice on getting around. There's a convenience store around the corner which has everything you need to make a quick bite in your room if you are so inclined.

Breakfast in the morning was included and was an excellent way to start the day.

I stayed here for nearly a week and was entirely satisfied with it. On arrival my room was upgraded to a small suite, so that's all I can comment on. I had a bedroom that would have been a reasonable size for a hotel bedroom at that price range and a living room/kitchenette that was just as big again. Everything was spotlessly clean and the decor was good.

The bathroom suffered slightly from having nowhere to hang up wet towels, but the shower was excellent (one of the best I've encountered in a hotel). The breakfast selection was small, but there was a lot of fresh fruit, which was perfect when you're on holiday and might not be eating as healthily as normal. The staff were all helpful and friendly.

The hotel's location was also pretty good. It was an interesting area with plenty to see. Sheung Wan MTR station was a short walk away and the rest of Hong Kong was easy to get to.

All in all, if I come back to Hong Kong I would quite happily stay here again.

This hotel is a fantastic choice. The location is in the Sheung Wan area just a stone's throw from the bottom of Hollywood Road leading up to Central (LKF and the escalators) in about a 10-15min walk. The MTR is an interesting 10 minute walk away through safe streets dotted with traditional tea and antique shops. The hotel itself looks brand new, the rooms are well equipped with full size kettles, proper China (!) mugs with tea/coffee, fridges, robes and slippers. The shower was excellent and the toiletries provided top notch. The rooms aren't huge (as to be expected in Hong Kong) but very comfortable and have everything you could need. My room faced Hollywood Road park which was really lovely. The breakfast is brilliant with fresh fruits (strawberries/blueberries/bananas/mango/papaya) yoghurts, toasts, eggs etc. There is a lovely garden terrace too where I ate breakfast each morning. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. I really can't fault the hotel and highly recommend a stay there. The location at this price is fantastic.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor, facing Hollywood road.

Good location from the MTR(exit B) less than 10mins walk. excellent assistance of staff (ms pepsi) from the reception, and all of the team.Breakfast is very good(9/10). Cleanliness(10/10). Overall(9.5/10). My Only concern is that the Toilet has no bidet :( ,not a big deal though. Would definitely stay at this hotel again in the near future.

Everything about this hotel was good to great. The rooms and lobby were everything you can hope for in a hotel in this range, the staff was polite and helpful, breakfast was great, and they even give you free snacks and Nespresso throughout the day. The location is a 5 minute walk from the Island line metro, so that's okay. Oh, and it's among the cheapest actual hotels we were able to find (where by the word actual, I mean rooms bigger than a closet).

First off I'll start by pre facing with the fact that the staff are very friendly, unlike a lot of the people I've dealt with here in Hong Kong so far (a handful of rudely impatient people). The breakfast is great for those who enjoy their morning carbs, for those who don't, you're a bit out of luck as boiled eggs and perhaps smoked honey ham are your only options.

The bed is quite hard, but I slept fine on it.

They seem to love cranking the air conditioning in this place too. Room feels a little cramped and whilst I was here (I was warned upon checking in) they had renovations which resulted in construction noises between 11am and sometime late at night.

The positive is the price was somewhat reasonable compared to other hotels. Can't complain too much, I guess you get what you pay for.

This hotel is in the Sheung Wan district of ?Hong Kong Island, in touch with Central but not too far away from the main City.
Access is easy by Tram near the rear of the hotel ( buy an Octopus travel card from any MTR station Customer Services if you are here for a couple of days - it's very convenient and cheaper). Sheung Wan MTR station is a 10 minute walk. Get a map....
The hotel is clean and modern inside, Rooms are not large but that's Hong Kong!
The inclusive breakfast is basic - boiled eggs, cheese, ham, toast, fried fish, meat patties, cereals and fruit etc but the dining area is small!
Sheung Wan is an older mor residential padre of the Island, many Hugh rise tenements so views from the hotel are limited, if you want a view then you have to find a more expensive hotel!
Overall it's one of the cheaper places and good value for your Dollars, just don't expect luxury at the price. It's well situated but you will need to walk a little to access public transport, if you don't want to walk, take taxis, they're cheap enough.
See my review of Big Foot walking tours if you want to get orientated quickly and learn a bit about HK

Room Tip: Floor 21 contains 'suites' with a small lounge area, it's quieter up here and a little e...
