“Yum and fun! Moroccan food and ambience at its best”
Reviewed 7 March 2014

Just had a lovely dinner at Le Souk in SoHo. Conveniently located in fun SoHo just off the escalators. Had the mixed appetizer plate to share and then most had Tagine (chicken, lamb or vege with fig and honey, wow!). Dessert was amazing too. Enjoy!!

“Middle Eastern cuisine just close by mid-levels escalators”
Reviewed 28 January 2014

The restaurant is really charming and the hosts have big smiles and courteous manners. The dish are very good and tasty. There are lot of variety with fish, lamb or chicken. You can experience tons of good quality food for average prices. Be aware that is very easy to spend a lot of money here. The place is really comfortable and the ambient is nice.
It is very close to the mid-levels escalators, therefore is easily reachable! I had an amazing and good dinner here, if I'll pass by HK again I will definitely come back!

“Delicious Moroccan Cuisine”
Reviewed 18 January 2014

The hosts welcome guests in with giant smiles and brisk attention. The ambiance is as lively and colorful as the lovely hosts in this Central neighborhood establishment. Order the fig salad and I promise you'll experience figs like you've never experience figs before...AMAZING! I would definitely return!!!

“an oasis of mideterainian taste in the ocean of asian food”
Reviewed 5 January 2014

visited this Middle Eastern-Moroccan-Egyptian restaurant place with my wife after 7 days in hk. we felt like having something different to the asian food we enjoyed since we came to hk. the place is conveniently located in central hk, next to midlevel escalator. we stayed not far away in a hotel, so finding the place was not a problem. we enjoyed the food big time. The couscous à Le Souk ($160) with lamb and vegetable sauce is the star of their menu. to begin with we chose two appetisers: the kofta (little spiced beef patties) and hummus with grilled chicked. The taste id koftas was very good. i reccomend it. All the food was accompanied with a bottle of Rioja. The bill was around 800 hk dollars, which i think was a very good value for the quality of food and service we got.

“Great restaurant just by the mid levels escalators”
Reviewed 4 January 2014

Wandering round this part of town you could easily miss this great restaruant due to the number of bars and restaurants here. However, if you feel like some authentic mid eastern food then this is definitely the place to stop. The menu is extensive and is sure to satisfy both veggies and non veggies. We had the hummus with roast lamb to start. In other restaurants I've had this in it's usually just a plate of hummus with some small shavings of lamb on, but here it was a lot of tender cooked lamb chunks. There was also plenty of bread to go round.
The crispy prawn salad was also a hit as was the soup and chicken stew.
A great find. I will definitely be back.
