I would reiterate everything that other positive reviews have said about this top end Marriott. Wonderful location, nicely decorated, comfortable rooms, high attention to detail and a real emphasis on the courteous, thoughtful service that one only sees in Asia. I was lucky enough to stay on the Executive floor and use the two level lounge, which is open from 6 am to midnight. The breakfast and evening h'ors doeurves and cocktails served there are outstanding. The location is a real plus, just a few steps from the Mall and for those needing some outdoor time, a 5 minute walk to Hong Kong Park. Also, super quick and easy for those using the HK airport Express, which is by far the fastest and most comfortable way to get to HK. There is a free shuttle that runs every 20 minutes to Hong Kong Station, where the Express ends.

Hotel location was good, there is a shopping mall in the hotel itself that allows more variety for shopping & dine out. Room size was very less, but well organized. You can use Cisco IP phones to do a lot many tasks from it that gives great experience.

Room Tip: Ask for Harbour View Rooms located floor 17 or above

I stayed at this hotel in May, 2013. The location was great and the hotel was easy to identify from anywhere in the city. The staff was extremely helpful and gave great advise for sightseeing and hikes on my days off. They remembered me by name and even remembered where I told them I was going earlier in the day. Everyone was very personable and treated me wonderfully. The business center had everything I needed and the staff in the business center were helpful when I asked for advice on local printers. I loved having a late night cup of tea in the lobby after a day of meetings. It was a great day to unwind. The breakfast buffet had everything I could have wanted and the food tasted great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and business travelers.

Location: centrally located, connected to Admirality MTR and Pacific Place office/mall
Hotel: smartly built, well kept
Room: big room, corner windows for most rooms, good sized bathroom
Positives: service was great, bed was comfortable
Negatives: shower area probably a foot too small
Ranking at time of writing: Ranked #19 of 595 hotels in HK

Stayed at the JWM for the 2nd time in over 4 years, not much has changed, everything was up to expectations from a 5 star hotel. The hotel is part of a bigger complex called Pacific Place which has 3 other high end hotels, a couple of office towers and a big mall plus direct connection to the MTR. So in terms of convenience, right up there!

The hotel is great, just like any other good business hotel in the area, big and spacious lobby, pool, gym etc. Several restaurants in the hotel, many more in the hall, no dearth of food places across all price points. Breakfast spread though a tad pricey was fantastic.

The room was big for a city such as HK which is known for cramped places. Queen bed, a single seat sofa, writing desk & chair, 2 side tables + ample of room to move around; big closet, spacious bathroom but slightly smaller than optimal shower area.

The service was perfect, prompt and courteous, smiles all around, everybody was happy to assist.

Would certainly recommend staying there.

Room Tip: My room #xx11 didn't have a great view as it faced the back side, but not the mountains, so I basically saw the buildings behind the hotel, neither the sea nor the peak. Nonetheless, big windows.

The room had a pleasant mountain view. It was also spacious, comes with complete and beautiful amenities. It has an office type desk where you could do business. The beds were big and just right. I simply loved the way they decorated the place with a table and sofa on the corner. You can virtually control everything with bedside controls. Simply beautiful. Will certainly come back and stay here again, if we have the chance. The hotel is beautifully connected to the Pacific Place Mall, the Admiralty MTR station, and Queensway Mall.

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade if there are any available vacant rooms. Please ask to be located in a harbour view room, to have a nice view of Victoria Harbour.
