I'd actually rate this between average and very good (call it 3.5). Location is very convenient. If you like walking, you can head to the West side of Kowloon and the monstrous Elements shopping center, or walk up or down Nathan Rd. nearby and get wherever you need to. Jordan MTR very close. Taxis are cheap in Hong Kong -- you can use them without much concern for budget.

Hotel itself is an ageing but reasonably maintained high rise constantly packed with tour groups. You don't relax in the hotel itself, but as a base for your Hong Kong stay it's fine.

A couple of problems came up but the staff dealt with them efficiently and politely. With the constant influx of tourists I was quite impressed with how much they had to juggle.

Room Tip: Elevator wait can be pretty bad. Choose a lower floor, perhaps.

Surprisingly quiet hotel in such a busy location. I would not choose to stay there long term as the lobby areas rather small and seating limited. Restaurants quite expensive so preferred to eat out during my stay.

I booked this hotel for 4 nights (March 31st - April 4th). It's a great hotel for the price you pay, and the location is convinient. It's about a 5 minute walk to Jordan Station and several night markets (Temple Street, Bowring Street). It's also directly oposite Kowloon Park and close to one of Hong Kong's biggest shopping districts; Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui (10 minute walk). The Airport Express (from the airport, to the hotel) is also quite convinient, as the shuttle bus stops at BP International.

The only major downside I had with this hotel, was the poor customer service I received. I booked BP International through Agoda and specifically requested for a double bed. Having arrived on the day, I was given a room with twin beds (on a smoking floor). I quickly informed the staff at reception and their excuse was: I didn't specify "MUST" for my double bed request. A request is a request, and to me, it sounds silly that I have to request a double bed, and exagerrate "This is a MUST". So, just a quick tip for those who are booking this hotel - If you want your request/s to be fulfilled, make sure you exagerrated it with a "MUST" in capital letters. Other (minor) downsides were: the slow WI-FI and elevator service. Having a room on a lower floor, the elevators were consistently crammed with people, coming down from the upper floors. Thus, on the last day (before checking out), I had to wait a good 20 minutes for an elevator with some space, for both myself and my luggage.

Overall, it's not a bad place, in terms of cleanliness, location and price.

Room Tip: Request for a higher floor, so you get a spot in the elevator

This hotel is located at the intersection of Nathan road and Austin road. It is easily accessible if u are taking bus A21 from the airport. Just need to get down at Nathan road and walk about 5 mins to reach the hotel. IT is situated besides Kowloon Park, one of the largest park in Hong Kong. Therefore, you may take a stroll early in the morning in the park to experience what the local does everyday. Very small room for the price we paid but it is neat and clean. The view from 23rd floor was awesome! Walking distance to the MRT JORDAN and on the way you will pass by a famous breakfast shop in HK(Australia Milk Company) and night market at night when you walked frm MRT.

This hotel does seem a little confusing as it seems to be integrated with the Scout Association of Hong Kong as one would see that the lobby had a portrait and statue of scouts, even some of the lift button have labels of it. Never mind that, we stayed there for 4 nights with no regrets. Traveling on vacation with my wife and teen daughter, we loved this place the moment we entered the lobby, our room was what we expected and had everything we needed. It's clean though a little small but again it's size depends on one's expectation and we were fine with it. The bathroom was also really clean and not at all cramped. We requested for a non smoking room and was allocated a room on the 20th floor with a nice view of the many high rise buildings scattered in the district.
It's location is both near the Jordan and Austin stations and within walking distance from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, and getting to this hotel from the airport is very easy. From the airport, after exiting the customs, look for the airport express/ MTR counter. Purchase group ticket if you are traveling in a group which is cheaper (we bought a "group of 3" set) to Kowloon station. Upon reaching Kowloon station, look for the free shutter bus waiting area, there are row of seats there for different bus, make yourself comfortable at the 'K4' area and a sign there will indicated bus arrival time. (there are staff there to assist you). The bus driver will announce the hotel name when he stops outside it. BP Int'l will be the last stop. It will stop at a small lane called Scout Path just outside a bus terminal ticket office, and you can return to the drop-off point if you need the shuttle bus to get to the Airport Express again.
The only setback was the lifts, looks modern on the outside until you ride in it, rather small and cramped.

BP international has an amazing lobby. rooms are good. toilets are small. food is ok. but they serve you mainly non vegetarian food which includes pork. so vegetarians will find it difficult. this is the case with entire hong kong. so be vegetarians be prepared. you will find an indian restaurant nearby. also you have a mosque nearby. hotel is very neat and clean.
