“Excellent accommodations! Views”

Great views. Room is a good enough size (desk, King sized bed, enough space to walk around). You're in Hong Kong - don't spend it all in the room anyway. Bathroom is spacious, toilet room separated by a door, shower stall separate from tub. Pricey, but worth it.

We stayed for five nights after a cruise. One night using points plus co-pay and others on HHonors points. We were upgraded to a harbor-view room on the 52nd floor, with Lounge access and free internet as a Diamond elite. Arrived at the hotel at 10AM, and were immediately assigned to the room. Check-in (in the lobby) was quick and professional.

The room was spacious enough, but a small table (with electrical outlets) was squished into a corner between the desk and an out-of-date and weathered dresser. A large flat panel TV with a good selection of channels was placed on the dresser. A comfortable chair with an ottoman were in the other corner. Wall-to-wall windows provided an excellent view of the harbor. The bed was large and very comfortable.

The bathroom is spacious, as well with separate tub and shower. Twin basins is appreciated by a couple traveling together.

Fresh fruit and chocolates were provided everyday. The lounge (on the 59th floor) is smallish and furnished with a row of tables next to the windows with a bench and pillows for seating. Not very comfortable. The offerings for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner were identical each day of the stay. The buffet of hot items is offered in separate pans on a hot surface, but were never warm much less hot.

Ordered room service twice, and found it sadly lacking on both occasions.

Room Tip: Rooms with a harbor view are highly preferred.

Expensive but you get what you pay for here. The room, service throughout our 7 night stay, the food, the club lounge, the bars and (although expensive) restaurants (we tried the French and Chinese out of 4 or 5 options) were all excellent. Fruit and chocolates were regularly resupplied to the room each day. The main bar/lounge provided a pleasant jazzy female vocalist and backing piano and bass in the early evening. As a nice touch, the hotel laid on a dragon dance in the lobby to celebrate Chinese New Year, for staff and guests. Location is within walking distance of Central and the Peak Tram (through the lovely Hong Kong Park just across the road) and the restaurants and bars of Wan Chai in the other direction. The metro/underground is accessible through the up market shopping mall to which the hotel is attached. The mall also offers at least half a dozen other dining and drinking options (though these are a little hard to find).

Although the cost of holidays in Hongkong are comparatively more expansive than some of the countries we have stayed. But, the food, the friendliness of the hotel staffs, shopping staffs and the general public have made up our days during this time of year. The government and the police must be commended for putting up so much celebration and activities with great efficiencies.

The Conrad definetely keeping the standard. Top notch service, the room clean, rich in all amenitities, turndown service resulted in apperance of hairy Conrad bear, so the bathroom duck was happy to meet new friend:). Executive lounge is a bit crowded during peak hours, but still managable. Tea and evening spreads quite impressive, breakfast spread even richer. The lack of wifi in the room (or request to pay $$ for internet access) still makes me feel astonished, particularly nowadays, when wifi is free even in public transport, but maybe this is only my European way of looking at things. In short - recommended, and if possible book the harbour view - absolutely fabulous!

I booked the hotel via their website.
Check in and out were ok, fast, friendly and efficient.

Room: Nice room, quiet, clean. Good to sleep.

Location: Hong Kong Island, close to public transportation. And directly connected to the hill side of HK.

Overall: Hotel is not a bargain. Very friendly and engaged staff. Everything runs smooth.

But there is one special thing at this hotel: Location: If you love to run, you can directly start your morning run not in the gym, but outside. Conrad HK is very close to the Bowen Road, a well known (car free) road at the hill side. I enjoyed this option very much.

I've stayed here many times and it's always wonderful and good service. On my recent stay, Junvie at the front desk was super friendly and accommodating. Their bed is so comfortable and I ended up having a good sleep which I normally don't.I can say that I am a big fan of Conrad Hotel brand.
