The staff were helpful and very fast in terms of checking in and out. I accidentally spilled water on my bed in the night and housekeeping staff was quick to change bedding. Location was great.

Room Tip: Request for non smoking room

The hotel is in great location for shopping at Mongkok, as well as very convenient (close to Prince Edward MTR and next to cross-boundary to China bus stop), The room are small (standard in HK) but stuffy (air con does not work well). So this hotel is good if you just use it as bed to sleep at night and go out most of the day for your shopping and eating. I paid $1010HKD per night for Standard room so these days so this is not expensive. So at the end you get what you paid for.

I think we maybe expected a litle bit more from this hotel. It was the most expensive hotel we were staying at during our travels (out of 5 hotels) and we were both a little disappointed at the standard of the harbour view room. The previous night we had stayed in a very plush hotel in Taipei (The Royal Biz) for €40 cheaper and the standard of the room in the Royal Biz was way higher, cleaner, more luxurious. Obviously they're different cities and space is a premium in HK, but it wasn't the size of the room, it was more the tired standard of the fixtures and fittings. The view however was completely aamzing and this was the real treat of the room. I agree with everyone suggesting to pay the extra for the harbour view room. We were there over Easter wknd and if we hadn't have already booked a harbour view I don't think we would have got one by asking for an upgrade because the hotel was full.
You get Black Kites flying right past your bedroom window, great view of the harbour and Victoria Park below. Great views from the hotel rooftop too, we went for a swim in the small pool there and that was quite surreal. Great location for mrt, trams and shops.
Staff were all very helpful, we didn't opt for bfast, it seemed quite pricey, there's a great cafe next door anyway (peace cafe) doing all the bfast offerings you could wish for.
Oh you do get free wifi, but you have to ask them to come up to your room to set it.

This has been my 4th stay in 12 years and this has been the disappointed stay.

Firstly i was given a small room on the 12th floor where smoking is permitted. I called down and asked for a non smoking floor room it couldn't move until next day, as the wife (arriving 2days later) is pregnant (I did state this when we booked (whether it was passed on by the agent?)). Being woken up by smoke fumes from the next door resident smoking at 5am wasnt nice. We were in a room that had access to next door via an internal door so hearing next doors screaming child too wasn't fun on the first night.

We were moved to the 11th floor. Identical room. Compared to last visits these have been the smallest rooms, literally a walkway from the door to the window with the bed up against the wall. The free wired internet is a bonus, having to pay for in room wifi is not.

The other rooms I've had previous visits were on the lower floors and were much bigger. I was very disappointed we didn't get one of these for the price we paid.

Prince Edward stop is not even a mins walk. Ladies market is 5-10mins walk away, good for a evening walk before a shower and bed (do have to cross Nathan road so beware).

Tip for food. Mongkok mtr exit e1 bank centre. Up the steps, and see the big concrete block that is some sort of bank. To the left of that is a lobby area that has 2 lifts up. 5th floor has Kim Mi Korean BBQ, we stumbled in by mistake looking for another we visited last visit. Really enjoyed the experience.

Room Tip: Not the 12th floor if u don't smoke

This is always my hotel of choice to stay whenever i visit hong kong. Located just a hop away from prince edward station, and in the middle of many fantastic food eateries, its one hotel that has alot to offer in terms of convenience.

I stayed at this hotel from 5 - 9 March this year. Reason why i choosed this hotel is because of the reasonable rates, location and distance to train station.

The good thing for this hotel is the location. Everybody mentioned it and indeed, it is very close to the train station. There are some restaurant just around the corner of the hotel hence you could get food easily at night. But i guess it is quite common in Hong Kong as food is everywhere even after midnight. One good thing i like about this hotel is that the airport bus A21 (if i remmeber correctly) stop at the entrance of the hotel. Also, there's a bus direct from Disney stop at the same spot too. You could catch a bus to the airport for appx 5 - 10 mins walk hence if could save your cost for airport transfer.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. For the first night the water heater was not hot and it get solved immediately. The staff are very friendly and they brought you a welcome fruits once you checked in the hotel. All staff greeted us when they see us. The last day after we checked out, i left my mobile in the room and the staff immediately notify me about this.

The only thing i do not like about the hotel is the bed. The bed is quite hard and luckily for me, i used to hard bed. However, this is not to my family members. The furniture looks tired but I am fine as long as the room is clean.

Overall, i am satisfied with the hotel and i will consider staying this hotel if i visit hong kong again.

Room Tip: No lift access to 13 floor hence you need to climb the stair case from 12 floor. Take note if you ar...

Stayed here from 10 to 13 Mar. Room is clean although small but otherwise quite decent. Buffet breakfast was okay. Staff helpful and polite. Good location as it is walking distance from Prince Edward MTR and some street markets.
