“A new favorite!”

I grew up in HKG and lived in Mongkok so was happy to find this recommended hotel by TA reviewers. We stayed a week and we're very pleased. The bell men were especially impressive, Hong, Jacky, Kenny, performing many of the functions of the concierge - great recommendations of local places, detailed directions, warm greetings and took care of our luggage with care. We had a corner suite with 180 degree views. Beds were firm and comfortable, which is hard to find since we sleep on a temperpedic at home. The mall, connected to the hotel is easily accessible by a foot bridge, had a nice collection of food, shopping, market and MTR stop. We used to only stay at the Salisbury YMCA with harbor views but Langham is now my go-to place... And did I mention the aromatherapy in all the lobbies? Wonderful touch, including the larger than life sized sculptures. Only ding is Cindy at front desk and hair left in tub on two mornings... Oh well... Nothing is perfect. Spa Thai massage and manicure were excellent, with a corresponding price tags to match. I might skip that next time, just too expensive but we're very good.

Let me start by confessing that I wrote a negative review on this hotel awhile back with a few constructive Recommendations. I have recently returned to this hotel and i am feeling very "proud and honored"! During my stay with my family this holiday, i observed an extremely noticeable improvement compared to my first visit. The Internet connection has improved, all hotel staff are well trained and strive for delivering professional yet personal customer services. I have experienced many "wow" moments when I returned to the room in the evening and be amazed by the number of thoughtful and not "cheap and nasty" turndown service gifts! I believe this all matters to all types of hotel guests, we all travel away from the comfort of our own home with high level of expectations hence it is often challenging for those high expectations to be met however the Lanham Place did for me! My acknowledgement to the hotel management team - well done and please keep up the passion and your striving for excellence! Looking forward to my next visit to our HK home soon.

Room Tip: Higher level is much recommended

My wife is sooo picky about hotels, however she had nothing but praise for Langham Place from the second we arrived at their counter at the airport. We had nothing but 6 star service from that point. We arrived at 9am for a three night stop. Got our room at 11am (an hour earlier than our booking). While we waited for the room to be ready, we had breakfast in the attached Langham Place shopping centre. Great view from our 29th floor room. On the third day, while trying to resolve a family crisis at home, we had a major problem with the phones in the room, which was professionally and speedily resolved by the Front Desk Manager and his Team. Breakfast was a buffet with an extensive variety of fresh tasty dishes in a pleasant open environment. Rooftop pool and spa (jacuzzi) were so relaxing. They also have a "Spa" on the top 2 floors for massages and other therapies - best to book well ahead. Staff were so cheerful and helpful and so many of them! MTR (metro) is accessed through the connected shopping centre. This is now the only hotel we would consider in Hong Kong.

Spent 8 nights at The Langham Place - myself, with my close friend, and our 12 yo daughters. Gary in Club L organised for us to be upgraded to a suite (additional costs involved from our original booking), which was so worth it. Our suite was great and gave us the extra space and bathroom we needed, but it was the attention and friendliness of the team in the hotel, inparticular at the Club L facility, that made our stay not just good, but GREAT. Thank you to Gary and everyone we met. It will be a holiday with many special memories. I hope to bring my husband back one day so he can experience the hotel and friendly service too.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in January 2014. Whilst expensive I chose the hotel for the location and proximity to the site where I was working.

This hotel has some lovely perks - a free drink every night at 7pm in the hotel lobby, free walking tours of the local district areas, Chuan Spa, a gym facing East and overlooking the local skyline and nearby hills and DVD players in the rooms.

I paid a little extra and had a corner room with panoramic views out to the harbour and a slightly larger room than standard. Very large bathroom too with a separate bath and a shower - bliss.

The Chuan Spa was wonderful and there was a good range of restaurants within the hotel itself, Just outside your door however is the Langham Place Mall with yet more shops and eateries and outside the mall is the heaving, exciting district of Mong Kok, full of little restaurants, shops and markets, oh and people too! I have never seen so many people - but Mong Kok is one of the most densely populated places in the worls - or so I was told.

Just a short stroll to the Mong Kok MTR - so this place really has it all.

Spent a week in this hotel, was working at Central but this hotel is less than 15 mins away on MTR. Great location in the middle of a super shopping mall with it's own 'beauty avenue', shops included Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown, MAC, etc... There are lots of shops nearby, GAP, H&M, Swarovski etc... Enough about shopping, it's a lovely hotel all the staff were very helpful & the food options were varied & good. The rooms were big with lovely modern bathrooms. Hotel room floors were quiet, even though there was a cool cocktail bar above the lobby area playing music until the early hours. All in all, a great place to stay in Hong Kong.

Room Tip: All the rooms I saw were very nice, 21st Floor I think.

Stayed here for work purposes, travelling through Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong. After a gruelling few days of quick meetings and then moving on it was a pleasure to finally arrive at this hotel.

The hotel is located in the middle of Mongkok, Kowloon with Nathan Road, Argyle Street, various markets and MongKok MTR station. It is also attached to Langham Place Shopping Mall, which as far as i can see is only distinguishable from other Malls due to its large Atrium. Beside that, the mall is pretty standard with Starbucks on every corner and various other types of food and shopping. There is a chinese restaurant in the mall which is very reasonable.

The hotel is as one would expect very nice. The staff are extremely efficient the helpful (i was looking for a colleague who was arriving one evening but not sure which hotel he was staying at beyond The Harbour Plaza) Seems there are a number of Harbour Plaza hotels so she rang round the hotels to see if he was registered.

The rooms are smaller compared to mainland China luxury hotels with the bed taking up most of the space. The bathroom is small but very well appointed and funky in glass and chrome. The view over Kowloon was good and I would think better as you get further up the floors.

The thing that makes this hotel worth staying in is however the roof top pool and spa. This open roof pool has a spectacular panoramic view across Hong Kong Harbour and Kowloon, while the changing rooms have saunas and a hot spa pool. It is worth it just for the view.

There were some nice touches, such as cafetiere which meant reasonable coffee in the morning without having to leave the room.

I did not eat at the hotel so unable to comment on breakfast, as there are plenty of options on the street and even in the mall, though the Backyard Bar is nice in the evening.
