During the last decade I have come to this hotel many a times for a short stop on my way to mainland China. It is well located near the railway station in Tshim-Sha-Tsui. The hotel shuttle bus gives good and regular access to Kowloon shopping streets, and boat to the island. Otherwise nearby there are not that many restaurants or bars.

The hotel is very busy and part of a shopping mall building. It is also connected with corridors to the railway station. By night the restaurants and stores have limited openings. For lunch and day time shopping quite ok.

The rooms are spacious enough and clean. I usually pick a double room with balcony (and hot tub), which offers me a view on HK island from the balcony. There is also a pool adjacent to the bay, thus you can see the city from the pool area as well. The pool and gym are very good, and the sauna excellent.

Internet not included in price.

Room Tip: Double room with balcony is the best. It has a hot tub outside, so you can enjoy the night sky and s...

This hotel is my go to. I arrived late and arranged the hotel car service to pick me up. The guy was there and ready for me. I arrived at the hotel late. Checked in, and went to the bar for a late night beer. The bartender stayed open to serve me as I am sure I looked out of it. The hotel is in a great location. I had a train the next morning with all of my belongings. I walked across the cat walk right to Hong Hom station and got my train. The staff is great and rooms are comfortable and clean. One can walk to restaurant row. Just ask staff where Bully Dogs is. Tsim Sha Tsui is walking distance if you want to hop over to Lan Kwai Fong for some night life. I had no time this trip.

Lots of positives about this hotel. We were upgraded to a suite which was very spacious and comfortable. Service was good and there seemed to be plenty of staff around who were very helpful. A free shuttle bus meant easy access to the centre plus taxis were easy to find. We had breakfast and there was ample choice. Despite being busy , we were always able to find a seat.
Small niggles-for the 2 days when we were there, coming back to our room late afternoon we found it had not been serviced. Housekeeping staff then appeared when we were wanting to change and prepare for the evening. Also, coffee and tea supplies were not replenished after the first day. Yes I could have phoned housekeeping but this was something that should have been checked. Also, this was our 6th hotel during our tour of China and the only one not offering a) free wifi b) ironing board and iron. The later was especially annoying as our clothes were badly creased by now due to the humidity and I didn't want the hassle or the expense of sending them to the laundry to be ironed. Small complaints but could lift my rating from very good to excellent.

After whole night journey from delhi by Cathay, Arrived at hotel at 9.30 am, but room allotted at 12 . 30 eventhough in this slack season large number of rooms were vacant. So tired by that time, after room check in, the day was just wasted in relexation to straighten our body. But thereafter, stay for 4 nights was quite comfortable. Adjoining Mall was gud to buy necessities. Free bus service to Kowloon and back was a great facility. Wifi at chargeble rate was negative factor. Room size was small, with suitcases to lay upon amid bed to wall passage . Breakfast Buffet lavish.

Room Tip: Higher floor with harbour view

This hotel is located in a convenient location.Very near to Hung Hom MTR station. Free shuttle from Tsim sha shui was helpful . We were given a partial harbor view room that was a suite with seating area & kitchen. Breakfast was good with variety of choice including Indian menu.

Price / Service relation for hong kong in this Hotel is still good and the house is recommendable.

We (2 People) have been there for 4 weeks in January 2014.

--- Quality and Service ---

it is recommendable to book rooms un the upper floors (starting at approximately floor 15) as the hoten then offers a wonderful view to the entire Skyline of Hongkong Island, just like in catalogue photographs!

Service and Quality of the rooms is in mid-range, proper communication in (Tourist) English is only possible with higher staff.

Meanwhile this Hotel is aimed to short-trip Chinese Holiday tourists and not so much to European/American/Australian etc. travellers.
Thus, for example european travellers should Claim justified whishes regarding the Hotel to their traveller's agency as direct communication with the Hotel staff can be difficult.

--- Location and surroundings ---

Not directly on the water front but there are foot bridges that lead you either to the front, or to the colloquial area of Kowloon and there is also a shuttle bus (every 15 minutes and no Charge) to the front end of Nathan road, one of the busyest streets on the kowloon side of HK.

opposit the Hotel there is a railway Station (Underground so no noise) called Hunghom that offers many Connections by Train and subway; behind that railway Station there's also a large bus Station with even more Connections, this Station is also reachable by a foot Bridge. So all in all i recommend this Hotel to people who intend to stay longer in HK and whish to explore the surroundings.

The Quality of the spa (Sauna + pool operated summer and winter) is mediocre; the Service staff does not care much for gygiene and tidyness but just security in the pool etc. However nice that it is operated in winter because many other Hotels do not provide their pools at this time.

Room Tip: starting from the 15th floor upwards - direction towards Hongkong Island. As Long as the constructi...

The hotel is updated and with clean rooms of a good size. The free Shuttle to nathan road is great - leaves every 20mins. The gym and pool area is lovely - just wish the pool had a bar!
It would be good to have options to include the wifi at discount if it's bought for your entire stay, or free if your stay is more than 5 nights. It's such a useful thing when you travel these days, and it should be standard for business travel.
