We took two rooms, a Harbour View room and an Executive parlour. I was not pleased with the harbour view room, the room smells like old and the space was really small. I recommend the executive parlour if you can afford it, very spacious ,has huge and modern toilet. Morning buffet was fantastic. The jacuzzi was not working at all, its just an ordinary swimming pool. If you are choosing a hotel with jacuzzi facilities, dont be deceived by this hotel.. Overall, our stay here was great and satisfactory.

Room tip: choose the executive parlour room -- great value for money

We stayed for 2 nights in November on-route to Thailand. The cost pretty much determined the choice of this hotel & we couldn't have had anything better if we'd paid more.

We arrived at 2pm to get our rooms having checked in early morning with our friends. After more than 24 hours without sleep I was not best pleased that our room still wasn't ready. Fortunetly after a few minutes wait they decided to 'up-grade' us & provided us with a room with a side view of the harbour (not sure what we would have gotten without the up-grade).

The hotel is in a great location, easily accessable without being right in the middle of all the hustle & bustle, thereby making it a quite & peaceful location. The hotel as a whole is lovely, clean, well maintained. We heard no noises from other rooms or from the passage, despite being right outside the lifts.

The staff were helpful & polite. One evening we wanted to use the free shuttle bus to get to the conference centre as it was near the Star Ferry, but the bus driver had had to leave early. So the staff called a taxi for us & covered the cost of getting us to the ferry. Excellent service.

We had buffet breakfast included in our stay & had lunch in the hotel 1 day (paying), the food was very good, & there was ample choice at breakfast.

The view from the roof top pool area is amazing - even if you don't use the pool just go up for the view!

We considered our stay at Metropark Causeway to be great value for money & would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others.

Room tip: we had room 1414 & it had a lovely side view across the harbour. Even rooms right outside the lift are quite & you don't hear any external noise.

We stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon earlier this month, the hotel were very kind and upgraded us to a harbour view room with a complimentary bottle of champagne. We had a harbour view room which had a beautiful view, especially at night. The room was spacious and very clean, air con was a little noisey but that's a fairly common problem I think.

The location was great for exploring and the airport express is fantastic. The free shuttle between Hong Kong station and the hotels is also great, if a little slow on the way back.

Overall we were very happy with our stay.

We recently spent six nights here and had a very enjoyable stay.

Positives
Generally helpful staff
Location is excellent, Tin Hau MTR station around the corner taking you to sll the action but hotel benefits from being away from all the hustle and bustle.
Views - excellent views over both Causeway Bay/Central as well as Kowloon and Victoria Park
Nice pool and well equipped gym with friendly staff member (didn't use pool due to temperature)
Good room - we had booked an executive room but we were upgraded on arrival to the deluxe suite which was lovely with excellent views and lots of space
Good choice at breakfast

Negatives / Areas for Improvement
Executive club - we visited only once at breakfast and were disappointed. Not only was it small but the selction of breakfast items was very poor and was not replenished. We arrjved rather early and yet only a few yoghurts and one pastry left. The member of staff was very disinterested. I was also surprised that children were allowed given the noise levels - for anyone wanting a relaxing breakfast before a business meeting, for example, this could be offputting.
Rooms - the bedrooms really need a dehumidifier, everything felt damp from the carpets to the curtains. By the end of our stay, even our clothes were beginning to feel damp.
Housekeeping - the standards of cleanliness were very high but one note was that the minibar was refilled only occassionally.

Overall, we thought this hotel was good value for money and in a good location and would recommend it.

For Hong Kong standards the rooms might be a little bigger than other hotels, but the normal rooms are still small. O.k. for one night, but not for a longer stay. Beds are o.k., we haven't tried the breakfast.

Internet was included in the room rate, but hardly responded. Even email or simple websites didn't load properly. We called about it, but it couldn't be resolved. So if you want to work here, be aware.
