This is great for staying in Kowloon. The hotel is stylish and modern and the staff very helpful. A 15 minute walk will get you to the harbour where you can catch the star ferry to hong kong island for HK$2.50!!! A 20 min walk will get you to the Temple street night markets and everything else is on your doorstep. A shopping mall over the road, and shops and restaurants a plenty. Fantastic spa facilties - even if you just use the pool and jacuzzi. Flat screen TV in the room with free access to internet, an IPOD docking station and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Enjoy your stay!!!

High rated reviews from the internet for The Mira hotel never disappointing me! Staying in The Mira is one of my best memory of my HK trip. I was so impressed by their excellent service. They are friendly and efficiency. Especially enjoy to stay in The Mira room, nice interior decoration and all the high tech stuffs. I just want to say, The Mira, you're so close to our heart, very considerate! Well done and keep it up. I'll definitely go back soon!

When we arrived at the Mira, there was some construction going on and the drilling was unbearable. As we got off the elevator to get to our room, the woman who checked us in was racing down the hall toward us. She told us that our room would be too loud and to go back to the lobby to get another room. Meanwhile, our luggage was also rushing by us to be delivered to that room and was then sent back down. When we got to the front desk to find another room, the woman checked the computer and informed us that we would be going back to the original room and it would not be that loud. However, I could still hear the drilling so I knew that was a false statement. She assured us that the drilling would be done by 6 pm. That was fine with us since, we were just freshening up and taking off to wander around HK. When we finally arrived in our room we waited quite a while to receive our luggage. I was officially cranky and called down to complain. A man then arrived at our door wanting to carry our luggage down to the lobby (not at all what we had requested). So it was a horrendous start to say the least. The room is very modern, pool is funky, and bed is cozy. I agree with other reviewers who have said that the walls are too thin-we could also hear our neighbors when they came in at night. If you are young and want to see HK nightlife, this is a great place to stay. But, if you are looking for efficiency and serenity this is not it.

A perfect hotel but a bit too expensive. Tech wise its amazing, very clean and close to the tube. Very contemporary with excellent interior designing.

Stayed in club room, if you plan to spend some time in the hotel and use the club room. This room category is recommendable.

The hotell in general looks and feels like it is presented on their web-site. The spa is very good and the fitness center is quite acceptable with modern LifeFitness equipment. The swimming pool is 20-25 meters long and square, so excellent for swimming laps.

The rooms are as high tech as suggested, and wifi works without any problems.

Other reviews have commented on the bathrooms. It is true all glass, but you can lower blindes. However, sounds from the toilet will still escape, even with blinds down. (Although there is sliding door which is easy to miss as it is sunk into the wall next to the sink, which actually close to eliminates this issue).

For storage space, it is true as other reviews indicate, the space is limited but for most it should be adaquate.

The staff is very welcoming and pleasant. After a couple of days several even called me by my name.

Breakfast is very good, although not amongst the best in the world, but I can hardly see anyone complaining. For those staying in the club level, it is worth noticing that the choice is quite much better in the main breakfast room on the groundfloor.

The only thing you would miss from this hotel is a view towards the Hong Kong island and for those taller then 2 meters or about 6' 6", your head will almost touch the ceilings of the corridors.

Modern hotel in good location but lacks atmosphere. Very dark. Cleanliness was not great. Room were maintained just on the surface but dust left everywhere and shower gels etc were topped up ad hoc. Bar had good service but you could be anywhere in the world as no windows anywhere in the hotel bar your room
Also they are currently modernising the shopping centre and the noise during the day is unbearable and they only informed at check in with a noise survival kit was not much use.
