“Nice stay value for money”
Reviewed 30 November 2011

This hotel i find at the airport hotel desk on my return from Beijing.
They offer complimentary airport transfers in boith ways and rate was really reasonable.
Only small problem that Panda is a little bit far from the Centre and it takes 30 min by metro to go there.
Property is well organized and there is a shopping centre inside.
Reception fast to asure fast check in room spacious bed wow-it was kingking size.
There is a microowen some dishes and cutlery in the coridor as well as fridge so you can bring and prepare some food.
This stay was very relaxing in Panda and I warmly reccomend it to all travelers.

This is a really value for money hotel, for traveler under budget, this is highly recommended. The service is great and the staff are helpful. The rooms are big.
Although it's a little bid old. The hotel lobby is always busy.

We were on a business trip visiting 2 fairs, one close to the airport and the other at Tsim Sha Tsui area, so we needed a hotel located between these 2 points.
Panda Hotel was a good choice because its price was quite reasonable and was located between these 2 fairs.
The breakfast was marvelous and the staff very friendly and efficient.
Its location is not really the best if you are on holiday or tourism because it´s not central, but if you don´t mind there´s a subway stop around 10 mins walking distance or you can take the "Pandabus shuttle service" to the city centre back and forth every 1 hour, for free.

Really more of a 3.5 review. The lobby is very large and lavish (complete with omnipresent tacky pandy bears in various forms), but the standard rooms are, well, standard. The room we stayed in had 2 single beds and one cot - the beds were fine, but the cot was uncomfortable. Having said that, overall there is nothing wrong with this hotel. It's in a mall, so there are plenty of stores and cheap eateries to choose from. It's not at all centrally located (from a tourist's perspective), but it's a 5-10 min walk to the MTR red line, and from there it's pretty quick and easy to get to anywhere in town. Most importantly, it's very reasonably priced - I doubt we could have found anything nearly as good for this price downtown.

Room Tip: Don't bother eating in any of the hotel's restaurants, they're overpriced and not very g...

Far from city and 10-min walk to closest MTR. Noisy and crowded lobby. Low headroom. Average breakfast buffet. Slow and inefficient check-in

Upon arrival in Hong Kong, I was facing a 13 hour layover. I did not feel up to paying $2-300 usd for a 1 night stay, so the search was on. A staff member at HKIA recommended the Panda, so I came to see. It was only 30 minutes from the airport, so the location was agreeable. The hotel was attached to a mall, so anything I needed was close at hand. The cost was less than $100, so the price worked also. The staff were friendly at check-in, and the room was a good size. Wifi was only another $10.

Room Tip: Rooms are a bit "beat up" but they are clean, decent channel selection.

This hotel too was a little far to my liking but because of the stores along the way, it kinda made the long walk worthwhile.

We stayed in Panda Hotel last February 2011 in time for the Chinese New Year. It was worth every cent since the people in Panda Hotel especially the bellboys and the security guy who is always beside the elevator are very accommodating. They smile at everyone and makes it a point to offer a helping hand if they see someone holding a big luggage ( We actually did not experience that in our previous hotel).

The room is clean and acceptable. I think it was just right for the amount we paid for. The good thing about this hotel is that the location is perfect if your destination is the far east of HK where we most of the time stayed like HK Ocean park, Disneyland and 360 Ngong Ping Cable Car in Tung Chung.

It was a pleasant stay all in all. That reason why I wrote this review is that we are booked to HK again and I am thinking if I should book in Panda Hotel again or try another hotel.

Anyways, I would recommend this hotel to my friends since I was really very satisfied the last time I was there with my husband and daughter.
