Where, oh where to begin. The chemical fumes from the work being done across the hall were unbearable. It was so bad as to make me dizzy. The WIFI (which I paid for) was terrible, constantly dropping signal and had difficulty with opening simple news sites. The staff had difficulty understanding very simple English, and even managed to across condescending with what little English they could muster. I had to stay in a twin bed room, even though I booked a double room, well in advance. My money could have been spent on MUCH better accommodation. The silly stuffed pandas on the wall do not make up for such a poorly pulled off attempt at being a good hotel. I will NEVER stay here again.

My family of 12 stay in this hotel on 20st Nov-24th Nov,the staff are really helpful and friendly.

You can find local noodle and rice just opposite of the hotel at price from HK$15-HK$20 and if you walk further down you will reach the local market, fruits are fresh, big and cheap.

The Hotel is quite convenient where the shopping mall is just below the hotel, you should try the restaurant at the ground floor,it's not too expensive too.

Travelling is never a problem in HK, buses and MTR (TAI WO HAU appox 10 mins walk from the hotel)

Room Tip: Inform the hotel when booking

We enjoyed a faultless stay in Hotel Panda in November 2011.
The staff were courteous and helpful at all times, the room was super clean and reasonably large, even by European standards and there was nothing to fault the whole experience.
Travelling into the city was reasonably painless, quite a long tube ride, but unlike the UK tubes they were clean and efficient as well as very cheap.
I was recommended this hotel by a friend and I would definitely recommend this to my friends.
Excellent - thank you

The hotel is located close to the container terminal and also near the shopping district.
The hotel complex has shops and restaurants and is a bustling place.
Room was comfortable, reception staff were courteous although busy.
Internet access cards were available for purchase.
Rooms were reasonably priced. Transport by train or taxis was easily available.

The Panda hotel has all the services you would expect from a quality hotel, including a pool and a small gym. The reception staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful (though sometimes the reception desk was so busy that you had to queue to speak to them). The rooms were well-appointed and the range of food at the breakfast buffet was amazing. As indicated, the only drawback was the location: it takes about 45 minutes to get downtown by metro. Having said that, at least the hotel is an easy walk from the nearest metro station (make sure you get the map from the hotel website, as it guides you across the confusing web of pedestrian overpasses). And as a bonus you can have a laugh at all the panda-themed displays around the hotel - I never knew you could get stuffed pandas in so many sizes and costumes!
