Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and I will have to say, that this hotel needs a major renovation! The 16 th floor aisle and corridors (although declared as a non smoking floor) had a lingering "cigarette" smell in it, probably from previous guests who violated hotel rules. Our room, Rm 1602 had a bathroom sink that had stains on it and a toilet that required 2 flushes just to ensure nothing is left after you use it. The bathroom also looks dated. The room size is generally ok for short staying guests (its a couples room) but the old wallpaper and dark curtains give guests a very heavy, unrelaxed feel. Bed pillows also feel worn out and overused. Although the room was a complete let down, service of the staff is very good, friendly & efficient. You can ask for free complimentary bottled water at any time and wifi in the room is free. Location of this hotel is also convenient. Luxury Brand shops, jewelry shops, restaurants, business offices are all within walking distance from this hotel. Even with the hotel's good location, I Will probably go back to one of the hotels I frequent on the Hong Kong side of the island and just wait for a renovation to happen before even considering staying in this hotel in the future.

I stayed for 2 nights recently and pre-booked with Agoda. I had booked a double room but on arrival found I was in a single. This was changed without any fuss the following day so no real problem. I found both rooms to be small with only just enough room to put your suitcase down . The bathroom was tired and in need of an update. That said it is in a great location at the bottom of the Canton Road and is perfectly placed for ferries to China and the islands. Harbour City shopping mall is just next door and can be accessed via a walkway. It's OK but for the price there are better options in Kowloon or on the island

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times and had reasonably good experiences. This time, I ha a college stay and we both had terrible rooms. They stick and the doors are siliconed. For $300/night I would expect a LOT more than this. The 8th floor sucks! Maybe if you pre-pay, they stick you in the crappy rooms. I'll complain to the manager later tonight.

Room Tip: Don;t get the 8th floor

Nice place to stay, right by the harbour and has access to the ferry terminal. You can also find a bus from the airport that takes you directly to this hotel (the bus takes passengers to all the hotels included in this chain). Very accessible to public transport or you can just walk a short distance to many shopping areas, restauarnts or just for exploring. Staff were very helpful. It was a bit on the pricier side, but well worth it.
