Location is great...it's walking distance to Ladies Market and the flower market. Great places to walk around for the local flavour..if it's not too hot. The hotel is also just next to huge mall which has everything you want. Esp the restaurants at the mall. The staff are helpful and willing to help whenever they can. Check-in was quick and so was check-out. Shared a family room with two other friends...and it was big enough for three adults. Beds are king size.

Room Tip: The family room is ok for three adults since we weren't in the room most of the time. But one bed is big enough for two to share.

Great central location, close to street markets, MTR, shopping malls and restaurants.
Very modern and well decorated common areas and rooms. Bathroom was particularly nice, lovely warm power shower.
The hotel lobby was continuously extremely busy. It didn't matter what time of day, there were long queues for check in/check out and it took a while to get to speak to anyone just for general enquiries. Concierge staff were friendly and helpful but check in/out staff were very impersonal and it felt like we were being treated like cattle.
Extra bed for our 5 yr old was almost 500hkd per night, which is crazy and they also wanted to charge around 150hkd for her breakfast on top.

Like the nice size of their family room as you can seldom find one with 2 queen size bed, value for money. Location is quite good with amenities such as MTR, markets, shopping centers and eateries within walking distance. Can even walk to ladies street. However, not that suitable for elderly as most places requires them to walk and a lot of stairs. Food in hotel restaurant was great too. Overall, nice rooms and good place for families without elderly. You may have to travel around in taxi if u bring elderly.

Location was excellent and not far from anything due to Hong Kong's awesome transport system. Rooms were clean and luxurious and the staff efficient and friendly. Would definitely stay there again. Shopping centre was being renovated during our stay, so we did not see it at its best, but the food court was great and gave plenty of options for our whole family. Walking distance to a lot of great things, (markets, restaurants) that not a lot of short term tourists see. Fantastic!

Room Tip: great views from upper floors on the flower market side of the hotel.

Booked this hotel due to the availability of Family Room that can accommodate up to 4 adults. Was initially concerned about the location as the directly-connected MTR is Mongkok East, which was not on the main Red line that goes to TST, Mongkok etc. However, everything is actually within walking distance (for e.g. 10 mins to Mongkok MTR).

Due to different schedules, I flew into HK alone and took the Airport Express train followed by the free hotel shuttle. There was a staff from Royal Plaza Hotel on board the bus but he was busy on his phone and did not offer to help with my luggage despite I nearly fell down the bus with it.

Was a bit overwhelmed when entering the lobby as it was overcrowded with people. Reception was not friendly and nobody offered to help me with my luggage since the moment I alighted from the bus. On the contrary, my family members received the opposite treatment with the lady receptionist extremely warm and eager to make them comfortable.

There is nothing to complain about the room, as it was relatively spacious in HK standards. Room condition was also good in the context of cleanliness and overall look. However, there was 1 night whereby we returned to the room with it reeking of cigarette smell. This was despite we were staying at a non-smoking level. The duty manager and housekeeping brushed it off following our feedback.

We left our luggage with the Concierge after checking out as there was still 1 hour left before we need to go to the airport. However, the concierge lost our luggage card after we passed to him for collection. He was frantic and took more than 15mins to locate our bags. This was rather shocking to us.
