The hotel went above and beyond to provide excellent service. The location was conviniently close to two train stations and just a short walk away from fa yuen street and ladys market! So close in fact that we walked to the markets every night of our stay!
Thoroughly enjoyed my time at the royal plaza and would definitly stay here again!

I went there with my friends and we reserved family room. The room had 2 queen beds which was really convinient and they also gave the amenities 4 sets as it told for 4 people. The room was also very clean. And dont forget the location which just one step to the mrt station.

Just some reminder: you should stop at east mongkok station and you will find the hotel. It got me confused at first to reach there because i took the wrong stop which is mongkok only.

Efficient staff, prompt service, good pool, fantastic location, good connectivity, adjoining a mall so ample food and shopping options. The rooms are modern and well maintained. The pool and the Gym is great. Was there for 4 nights with my family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay would certainly come back to this hotel when we visit Hong Kong the next time!

Room Tip: Upper level rooms have a good view.

We stay 5 nights at Royal Hotel. 3 nights + 2 nights ( because we went to Macau 2 nights ). The room is suitable for 4 adults, very clean, nice room and nice smell. There are 2 queen size beds. The 2nd floor link to the grand century mall. The ground floor of the mall is mtr east mongkok station. We arrived at hk airport at 4pm then we took hk express train from airport to kowloon station only 21min. We bought the group of 4 tickets cost 220hkd ( cheaper than regular price 90 hkd for each person ). We took free shuttle bus from kowloon station ( K5 ) only 15min we arrived at Royal Plaza Lobby. Quick check in process. We will stay here again if we go to HK. There are foodcourt at level 3. There are free shuttle bus from hotel to tsim sha tsui ( Harbour City or Avenue of Star ). Only 15min from hotel. From hotel to Avenue of Star we took mtr only 2 stops ( about 5 to 10 min ). From Avenueof Star we can walk to Starferry or Harbour City ( 10 to 15 min walking distance )

I came here with my old grandmother and 2 of my cousins. We booked the family suite room for 4 people, the room size is quite big with large bathroom also.

The staffs there are so helpful and friendly. The hotel located right beside the Mongkok East mtr station and has their own airport express shuttle stop.

The hotel is attached to shopping mall where you can shop and buy your needs.

But when I came there last week the room condition was humid and we can smell a bit of unpleasant "humid kind smell", but overall this hotel is GREAT!

This was our first time staying here. If you are taking a car the entrance is a bit hidden; it is around the Grand Century Place building. The hotel was newly renovated and had a nice, modern look, with comfortable beds and a nice, clean bathroom. The beds were definitely one, if the not the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. Even when others in the room were awake and about I was still conked off. Needless to say, I was definitely well rested throughout my trip. I also thought it was nice of them to provide free bottled water in the minibar, though the rest of the beverages you must pay for. The shower is nice but there is only a tiny hand shower, without an accompanying rain shower head on the ceiling. For some weird reason there is a curtain that allows the bathroom to be exposed to the rest of the room when opened. We didn't open it, but it's just something interesting about the hotel. One thing I did not like was the shower had a very high step from the floor. We had an ill relative travelling with us, and she had to be helped up by us into the shower and out of the shower.
The hotel has a fairly small outdoor swimming pool. Unfortunately since it's outdoors it closes when there is lightning, which is basically every day in Hong Kong. The water is comfortably warm (about 31 Celsius) but rather cloudy and hard to see, and also a bit crowded.
The hotel has some very nice features including a gym (though you'll be kicked out if you're not wearing sports shoes) and a really good location. It is mere footsteps away from the Grand Century Plaza mall, which has everything you could need and want (including karaoke, which was fun), though a bit pricey. It is also mere footsteps away from the Mong Kok East Station, which takes you to the tourist highlights around Kowloon in just a few stops. The hotel also directly connects to a large network of overhead walkways that go over the streets of Mong Kok, a very useful thing if you don't want to get caught in a surprise thunderstorm that always happens in Hong Kong. The walkways allow you to conveniently access many small, streetside stalls, unique storefronts, and of course great food.
As a last note, something that bugged me just a little during my stay was that when we approached the door to return to the hotel there would always be a staff member standing there. Despite there being an ill relative travelling with us, they did not even bother to open the door for us as we approached. I know we could have easily opened the door for the ill relative, but considering this is a "5-star hotel" it's the little details that make for great service.
