“A Hong Kong Must”

It does not matter what time you get to the tram to go to The Peak, there will be queues, but it is worth the wait.

“Forget the tourist traps”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

However you reach the peak the views certainly reward you. On arrival either do the circular walking route or go into the park for the rest is full of people jostling for your money trying to sell you a view that is free and you really do not need to go up a tower. Its high enough already

“The place to see Hong Kong”
Reviewed 15 August 2014 via mobile

We actually went up the peak twice, once by tram and then walking in a group. Both were enjoyable in their own way, but I would say the tram is a must because of the history and the uniqueness of the experience.

The view from the top is spectacular on a clear day but beware of the mist and fog that is common in Hong Kong.

At the top there are many shops, restaurants and bars, as well as walks around the peak.

Goes without saying that this is the thing to do in Hong Kong.

“Beautiful view :-)”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

Finally made it so and there where no clouds covering the view ! what a great view, just as good as the one from star walk...There is also a great view from outside burger king restauarant if you don't want to pay to go right to the top :-) If you can it is worth having a photo taken by the photagrapher but be aware it is expensive...but still worth it :-). Note, when we went it was around lunchtime and not very busy at all :-)

“Ahhhhh. . . the view”
Reviewed 15 August 2014 via mobile

Hopped on the MTR to central and walked a few blocks uphill to the Peak Tram. For $80 HKD we relieved admission onto the tram and the Sky Terrace. We were a bit early and the Sky Terrace 428 observation deck did not open until ten. The view was fabulous. It was extremely hot today (August 14). If you travel in August get there early or in the evening because the sun was relentless. We stayed for an hour, and the line was literally outside of the Tram terminal and wrapped around the block. The earlier the better, we had no line what so ever. We're off to lunch and the to the 10,000 Buddhas!
