We stayed at Wanchai 88 for 3 nights recently. Kyle and the team really looked after us - nothing was too much to ask and they even went to the extent of letting us use their personal phones to authenticate a purchase of some coupons for activities as we didn’t have a local number. Fantastic facilities and location, would really recommend staying here

Very large rooms by Hong Kong standards. Modern styling and close to the MTR.
No restaurant in the hotel, but there are literally hundreds of food options within walking distance.
We only stayed one night as part of an extended layover, but I would not hesitate to stay here for an extended period if I visit Hong Kong again soon.

A male staff broke into my room while i was taking a shower at 9am saying that the room was checked out. Not only has the hotel did not make any in person apologies, the manager never showed up and only asked the reception guy to call and offer late check out as a compensation. It was the worst experience at this hotel and i hope no one ever choose to stay here to risk their privacy and getting treated the way i was treated. The room isn’t as great as shown in the picture and facilities were run down.

My second visit to this place and this time I stayed on the upgraded rooms which is very much worth it with the stunning views of the mountains. Size is also much bigger. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Of course there is no breakfast but the location makes up for that. The rooms are good size with plenty of power sockets. Bathroom is well maintained and efficient with overhead rain shower. Definitely my regular place.

Fantastic hotel. clean, modern interiors with fantastic shower facilities. Really enjoyed staying there, the staff were friendly and we felt safe and welcome. Would recommend to someone in need of a hotel which is well located and covers all the basics at a dirt cheap rate!
