We entertained clients at the restaurant while attending an international conference in Hong Kong in May.
Communication with the restaurant was very good. Our reservation request was confirmed by return email with advice that set menus would be emailed to us closer to the date form our review and selection. Three different menus at 3 price points were sent as promised.
We chose the highest price menu at $628 Hong Kong per person which included:
stir fried soft-shelled crabs with salted egg yolk sauce
wagyu beef steak with duo sauces
roasted chicken with black truffle
stir fried tiger prawns with kimchi, rice cake and cheese
soaked Fuji apple with Japanese sake
braised giant grouper fillet with pan fried noodles in abalone sauce
green papaya stone fish soup with Chinese cabbage
homemade lychee ice-cream
The food was beautifully presented and served. After presenting the dish for our review, it was taken away and served to each guest. Lovely. Everything tasted great.
Our guests were appropriately impressed, as were we. We were in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and mainland China for a month and this meal counted among the very best. The only problem we encountered was finding the place. Our cab driver dropped us off at the wrong address and we took some time to locate it. Highly recommend.
