Nice place to stay, good bed & nice bathroom, kitchen was very small but it worked. Good A/C (handy in Hong Kong in summer) and friendly staff. The location was good, close to a MTR station and at a very competitive price when compared to hotels in the surrounding area, so all in all you will receive good value for money. Some minus points: the kitchen could do with some more kitchen utensils, for example some bigger bowls and mugs would be a nice addition. Most disappointing was that the (otherwise clean) apartment smelled of cigarettes' smoke when we arrived. We really opened the windows for a few hours, but this did not solve the problem. Smoking is prohibited in the hallways of this hotel (and in most other places in Hong Kong), but apparently not in the rooms, which is a pity in our opinion.

We spent 5 nights here in July. The location is great, we walked a lot but trams and MRT very close. The room was well equipped, small kitchen with a washing machine! 2 of everything but very small bowls! The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. There is renovation work going on at the moment on floors 1-10, we were on 16 but the noise was loud! However, the work was only carried out between 10am and 5pm. Also a horrible fishy smell from the drains in the bathroom and kitchen!

Stayed here for 4 nights with my sister just recently.

The apartment is pretty much in the heart of Wanchai and you can easily choose any form of transport to travel locally. And as many people have mentioned, the steep hill is steep but easy enough to walk up with an extra bit of effort. It really took only maximum 3 minutes with our suitcases to trudge up.

As for the apartment itself, it has all the amenities provided by a hotel. You will need to supply your own clothes and dishwashing detergent if you are planning to use the kitchen and clothes washing/drying machine. The housekeeping was also very spot on except for the space under the bed where it was quite dusty. Check before you put your suitcase there unlike us.

And like what other people have experienced, the fire alarm turned on at 6am on the very first morning and we were on the 20th floor....Good thing it was turned off within a few minutes and we really didn't have to walk far in our pjs.

Btw all the staff were amazing and very helpful. Thank-you!

We just came back after staying in this hotel for the past 1 week. The hotel is situated in a great location. The staff are friendly and helpful too.

The faster way to get to this hotel is Exit A3 from Mtr Wan Chai Station. Cross the traffic crossing and you will see a (Tai Yuen Street) "Bonjour" shop - selling perfumes and comestic stuff. Walk straight in ahead and you will see many local push-cart like stores. Walk till the end of this street and you will see Environmental Resource Centre opposite. Beside it is Wan Chai Gap Road. Walk up the slope and you will see Eaton House.

1. There are buses in front of Wu-Chung House (walk down the slope, left from the hotel) that goes to Central area.

2. Bus no. 15 (bus stop opposite of the hotel) goes up to Victoria Peak in around 20 mins. This is a better way to go up the peak - the view was stunning and it is way better than queuing up for the peak tram. You can choose to take the peak tram down from the peak and walk over to Central Mtr Station.

3. There is a MacDonald located inside Hopewell Centre, beside Wu-Chung House.

4. Wan Chai Market is located opposite the hotel, Tai Yuen street also have many stores selling local stuff. There are also many other restaurants located around the hotel area.

5. Behind Exit A3 of Wan Chai Station, you can see an overhead bridge. You can take the overhead bridge, walk all the way toward the direction of Hong Kong Convention Centre. You can walk out toward the Wan Chai Ferry Pier to take star ferry to tsim sa Tsui. The symphony of light show can also be viewed from Golden Bauhinia Square, walking distance from Hong Kong Convention Centre, however please beware of traffic as there are construction going on there now.

6. The same overhead will also be able to lead you to O'Brien road. You should be able to see a fitness Centre on your right (this is toward the direction of Hong Kong Convention centre). Walk slightly up and on your left you can see a staircase. It will bring you to O'Brien road. Cross the road and you can see bus stop. Bus number A11 will bring you to the airport.

Overall, this hotel is really in a good location, though yes you have to climb a little slope to go up but it is worth it. The hotel provide shampoo, hand soap and shower gel but please bring your own washing detergent if you are using the washing machine. Daily housekeeping is also provided.

Stayed here for a weekend during the Hong Kong Arts Festical. The hotel is located in Wan Chai which is the heart of Hong Kong. However, there is a small slope in front of the hotel so this hotel might not be suitable for those who have knee problems or a lot of luggage.

The staff were polite and efficient. The room was clean and spacious. The layout of the studio is nice. Since it is more like a serviced apartment, every room comes with a well-equipped kitchen and a regular fridge. We did not really use the kitchen as there were a lot of nice restaurants and food stalls in the area. There's also a big supermarket nearby for all the daily necessicities when needed.

The gym is small but sufficient for a quick workout. There is also an outdoor sitting area which is a nice touch.

I used to stay at another hotel in Central area, under suggestion of my local friend, I decided to try the Eaton House. It was my first time here, as I mentioned above is good value for money (for Hong Kong),
The only problem is their english over the phone, they simply do not understand, better go directly to the reception.
Staff is friendly

Good value, clean and convenient for Wanchai and public transport to Central. areas. small gym with new equipment. Steep hill off of Queens Road East to get access. Friendly staff. this is a small hotel and emphasis is on value-for-money; although rooms are typically tight for HK, in-room facilities are more than adequate.
