I've stayed in several hostels on both Hong Kong mainland and Kowloon, and this is without doubt the best. It's a gorgeous dorm-room hostel, best use of the very limited Hong Kong building space I've seen, spotlessly clean with a beyond awesome staff who go out of their way to be helpful & friendly. Situated right in the middle of Kowloon with all the shops, resturants and malls you could need within spitting distance, and the MTR is under a minute away as well. Thoroughly recommended.

A few friends and i slept in the 8 bed bunk room this June. Tiny lockers. Tiny place- no space in the common room and only 2 bathrooms. But great location. Close to the metro. Good price for the location. Bunches of hostels nearby as well. No breakfast. Bunks arent the most stable, but decent.

i grew up sharing a room with my three sisters.

i went and lived on my own and m a person who values space.

i've already stayed in yesinn causewaybay and with space as the criteria yesinn is the runaway winner.

i feel that the sheets are not neatly tucked because even the cleaning staff are having a hard time moving around.

it is more convenient though to ride the bus from the airport and then arrive at the haiphong mansion. it took me less than five minutes of walking compared to yesinn cwb.

i stayed in the six bed rooms and on the 14th floor. there are three rooms. i suppose all of them were six bed rooms and we had to share two bathrooms.

the power outlet on the bunk bed that i happened to be in was wider compared to my bunkmates so i just asked their favor to charge my powerbank for me.

overall it was an economic stay.

P.S. if nobody answers the doorbell don't panic. there's a phone on your upper left which you may use to call them.

I spent a week in this hostel, seeking to meet other travellers. This hostel is quite small which lends itself well to meeting new people. It is very clean and has some great design as well. The location is fantastic and the staff are great. for most of the nights I stayed there, I met a lot of great people and there was a fantastic atmosphere. The location is great with plenty of late night eateries and a subway right out the front. The staff organised regular events for guests to go along to. The only drawback was that you had to pay for water. Or use tap water and boil it but that tasted funny.

Room Tip: Choose the 8 bed or 4 bed if you are a guy (and the 6 bed as well if youre a girl). Ask for the lowe...

I had a short stay but this place is cool with a cozy common area and the staff was great! Very clean place and easy access to the metro. Usually there will be friends that want to go out with you so this was important to me since I was traveling alone. I will return to Urban Pack for sure..... Thanks to Albert and Jason!
