The rooms were small. The reception staff gave the impression they had better things to do and at the best of times ignored my English when I spoke clear and concise. The bathroom was decent so I was thankful for a hot hot shower from a full day of sight seeing. The beds were rock hard and the pillows were less than half an inch thick. Wifi was ok.
Being right on Nathan road was the reason why I chose to stay here. We walked to the harbor and temple street markets as well as traditional food stalls. It's busy 24/7 on this road but luckily we got a good night sleep. We didn't pay very much for the week so you get what you pay for, there is plenty of choice, but i was watching my pennies that trip so I chose this lodging. I would stay again if I was on a budget but be opened minded if you do.

Good room attendant. He/she took initiative to tidy our very messy rooms. directly located at the busy nathan road, and the fortune telling temple street behind with the very nice hao jian and claypot rice (gotta queue for it on weekends)

Yes, luggage has a deposit of HKD 10, i believe this is due to space constraint at the hotel, but its reasonable price.

Had read review about this hotel that charge 10HKD per baggage deposit but we still go for it since there are family room for us.

However, it will be the first and the last time to stay in such hotel. We have been staying for 7 nights and the last day of check out, we have requested if we can check out late. The receptionist indicated that there will be a late charge of 100 HKD per hour. OMG, they should have informed us earlier when we had email our enquiry to them before we booked their hotel. No choice, we paid them 200 HKD as my bf came down first to check out. I came down late while trying to looking for thing in rm. Suddenly, the male receptionist ask us to pay another 100 HKD as our check out time is 4pm not 3.30pm. As such we are unhappy as we had pay all and ready to take our deposit money back, we are reluctant to pay additional 100 HKD to THEM. Request to speak to manager but off duty, a female snr receptionist explained our check out time is 3.50pm. Too many confusion, they insist us to pay.

People at the reception are just too focus in ASKING & collecting MONEY. They are not customer services-oriented at all. BAD services and attitude..........

A really bad experience, unfortunally we got a room on the bottom floor with a window to the street where you could practically hear the buss driving next to your pillow. The bus windows fall at the same level as the windows of the room. The Room was small and the entrance tho the bottom floor rooms do not even go throughout the normal reception entrance. Instead to enter you have to go out and take the stairs in the back of the hotel.
In our opinion this room should on the bottom should not even be rented out. It is just a really awful feeling to have to enter the back way, to a corridor that smell horrible, to then enter a tiny room where the noise is constant, day and all night due to the nonstop traffic of Nathan road which is right outside.

Room Tip: Do not get or take any room at the bottom or first floor!!!! Call the hotel and make sure thats not...

Stayed in the family room, the size was tiny but manageable. We kept having problems with the key card as it kept getting demagnetised but the staff was prompt in dealing with that. The location was great - just a stones throw from Temple Street Market, Yau Ma Tei MTR and a 711. Overall it was a good stay and value for money.

It is tiny hotel for one person traveller. Everything here is small but enough for one people. There is no breakfast available, no bar or restaurant, so you cannot ask for even an ice cube. The location is great as it is at the side of nathan road and near many restaurant including mc donald (within walk). At it is also close to Yau Ma Tei MTR station. It close to Mong kok shopping street, temple street (shopping also). As the location is great, the room is also not quiet, so it is better to stay at higher floor to avoid noise. The elevator is damn slow to come. The internet is good (wifi), but on my last day they have problem with the internet the whole day. There is a safety deposit box, but no function at all. You even can move it and pick it up.

Room Tip: 10th floor is good choice.

Sayed in Kings de Nathan in March this year and was generally happy with it.

First, some of the cons. Given the space constraint that is Hong Kong, it is understandable how a standard room here is at least two-thirds the size of a standard room in another country, and at the same price per night! The walls and door provide little protection from any sounds coming from the corridor. There is only one lift, and it is tiny as well. The lift also has similar noise protection prowess as the hotel room's walls. Any noise you make inside will likely be heard in the corridors and at the reception.

Next, the pros. The rooms and corridors are very, very clean. The modern dark interior themes complement very well with the furniture. The service is good and commendable, though check in took a little longer than we would like. And the LOCATION is simply perfect for a good week in Hong Kong. Nathan Road is probably the primary road running down central Kowloon and is probably where everyone congregates and carry out their day to day activities. Staying along Nathan Road means you get to walk to Mong Kok up north, and Tsim Sha Tsui down south. If need be, the Yau Ma Tei MTR station is just a few steps (really) away from the hotel! Hunger late at night is easily satisfied by the many food outlets and stalls along the back alleys running parallel to Nathan Road along the area of Temple Street.

In short, if all you need is a safe and clean place to rest, clean up, and keep your belongings, Kings de Nathan is the top choice by virtue of its great location!

Room Tip: Might want to ask for rooms not along the main road because the Hong Kong traffic is still very heav...
