This bistro is a hidden gem in Cheung Chau. Despite the unique village atmosphere the Island has, the bistro's ambiance brings you back to a quaint cafe in Europe. Cheung Chau is relaxing enough as is; by being in the bistro, it brings you to a higher level of relaxation.

The set lunch menu is definitely worth its value, especially given the fact the pasta is freshly handmade, and there was a generous amount of bolognese sauce. The pizza was also very thin and loaded with chorizo and cheese. The squash soup was extremely flavourful.

Dessert and coffee are a must have (even though it came with the menu). It was just right for the Asian palate (i.e. not too sweet), but very original.

The decor is quite quaint, and while we were waiting for our food, we had a good time admiring the wall decor and the atmosphere outside. The glassware and dishware were pretty too! The bistro was extremely clean and comfortable. I would definitely return.

Note that the bistro may be a bit hard to find. Once you step off the ferry, instead of heading straight into the village, take a right from the ferry station, and walk on the Cheung Chau Family Walk Lane. Once you pass the municipal building/market, you can find the restaurant on kin san lane.

Attended a private dinner party here last night and was wowed by the food. Each course was handcrafted with very fresh ingredients and lots love to create simple yet absolutely delicious food!

Nice, warm atmosphere in the evenings and the outdoor tables are great for watching village life go by at lunch or in the afternoons

We visit Cheung Chau Island allot and have dined at most restaurants there. This place is the best on the island for international, quality food for a casual meal or a special occasion. Great value for money!

Be sure to check the opening hours before trekking out to the island as it is now closed on Sundays

Unexpected. We discovered this nice place where we had one of the best crème brulées and tiramisu. Great coffee too. Guess the food is equally good! Very friendly owner!
