“Delicious dim sum”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

Enjoyed a tasty selection of dim sum here. We visited on a Sunday and had to wait about 20 mins for a table for two; by 8.30ish there were no queues at all. The food was delicious, well priced and very filling. The two of us definitely over ordered - was a shame to leave some food but as we were leaving the city the next day we didn't take up the 'doggy bag' option that some of our fellow diners took. My favourite was the chicken dumplings, but everything we sampled (6 dishes) was very good.

“Good Food”
Reviewed 17 June 2014 via mobile

I had dinner here recently with my son, daughter in law and grandchildren. My daughter in law did the ordering so I'm not completely sure what we actually ate but everything was very good. We didn't have to wait for a table as they must of had a large table available when we arrived. The restaurant was very busy and there was a wait for smaller tables. This restaurant is part of a restaurant chain that I have eaten at many times in Singapore. The food is always excellent but there is really no ambiance, this restaurant is in a shopping centre. Service is fast but it's a bit like being in McDonalds except the food is very good. They do have a wine and beer list but I had to drink Chinese tea as there was no Chardonnay by the glass which I find a a big negative!

Delicious food and lovely staff...my favourite dim sum in Hong Kong! I highly recommend the steamed pork dumplings and the spinach sauteed with garlic.

“Always an eating delight”
Reviewed 10 June 2014 via mobile

When in HK, our family always schedules a stop at DTF for a guaranteed gastronomic satisfaction. For our nth visit, this resto has proven to be most consistent in quality. Aside from xiao long bao (great here but best in Taipei), our group of 10 (with 4 seniors, 3 kids ages 10 to 4) enjoyed the spinach, shrimp, double boiled beef soup, porkchop, and sweets almond jelly with strawberry. Best to beat the crowd and arrive within 30 minutes after opening hours for lunch and dinner. Resto is clean including in-site restroom. Service is fast, and efficient (not pampering).

“great food, great restaurant”
Reviewed 6 June 2014

We visited this restaurant in December 2013.

The restaurant is excellent - the food is phenomenal. The dumplings are the bastion of this restaurant's reputation, and they are done exquisitely; you shouldn't leave without trying them. The rest of the food is solid as well, with the exception of the beef noodle soup. This dish was a bit disappointing; the portion was small, it was relatively expensive, and the beef was quite chewy and tough. Everything else, though, from the buns to the fried noodles, were excellent.

The service was excellent, and the venue was spacious. In the end, the quality of the food isn't quite as good as the Causeway Bay location, but if you're on the Kowloon side and looking for food, this is still an excellent choice - just watch out for the beef noodles.
