“Best Hotel in Central”
Reviewed 15 December 2013

I have to say that this is my 1st choice if I stay in Hong Kong - although I think that it needs some renovation already. The design of the room is starting to get dated already. Specially compared to the newer hotels (like Ritz and the more recently renovated Pen). Still, location wise this is the best. Service is not as personable too compared to the others mentioned.

Excellent hotel, provides a truly meaning of luxury. We have stayed in Four Seasons with our baby (8 months old), without any special request or reminding; hotel personnel have foreseen our needs and arranged not only a bottle-heater, spare diapers and baby bathtub, but also toiletries, toys, blanket and even a play-mattress!
The location of the hotel is most convenient, just short walking distance to Airport Express (if you have too much luggage with you, hotel has shuttle to get you there in 1-2 minutes). MTR station, Bus and ferries terminals are at your doorsteps, as well as big shopping malls, cinema, bars, café, restaurants etc. are all in walking distance. However hotel’s bars and lounge area are pretty much busy all the time and without prior reservation it’s difficult to get place (we had only one chance to enjoy drinks at Blue Bar and none at The Lounge). Rooms are spacious enough to accommodate our family of four without bumping on one each other or hitting toes on furniture. The small things, which make your life comfortable and sometimes you do not even notice such as big screen TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi (is free for all our devices), mobile charging cables are all in rooms. Even though the room fees are expensive, hotel makes it up to you, providing the best service, so you won’t regret paying little extra.
We will definitely stay in Four Seasons again.

This is a spick and span hotel that ticks every single box to make your trip as smooth and efficient as possible.

The location is central. The check in is super efficient and takes seconds.

The rooms are spacious and well presented. The beds are comfortable. There is a coffee machine with capsules. There are little fantastic additions like network cables and mobile charging wires provided on a proper working desk. The wifi is free and strong.

The gym is excellent even though a bit full with all the jet lagged European and American business travellers in the wee hours of the morning. Even in the gym, at 5 am, there were headphones provided, with clean towels, bottles of water, juice, fruits .... They have thought of everything !!

Problem is It's expensive so usually out of budget, but if you can stay there don't bother checking anywhere else.

Really.

A lovely Hong Kong hotel. On the island. Not a long walk to all the bars and restaurants. Will definitely stay again. One of my friends brought his kids and they never left the pool. As for us we were out and about all the time

I stayed many times in hotel including this year and never been disapointed by the quality of service and professionnalism of the Concierge. The hotel is very central and very confortable (even if they are building a by pass in front of the hotel for the last 3 years; rooms can be noisy. The spa is one of the best I ever tried. Access is perfect as in IFC/airport express

Room Tip: Better ask for room that are NOT on Victoria harbour view as they are building a by-pass in front of...

Stayed here for 6 nights while on business in HK. I was attending a conference being conducted at the hotel so I will review from two perspectives -- that of a guest and that of a conference attendee.

As a guest, this hotel is a real winner and a destination for either the business traveler or family traveler. The location is great. The views are great. The staff is what you expect from Four Seasons --- very professional and accommodating. The rooms are elegant and provide the business traveler with every detail you need and more (ie. chargers, cables, desk supplies, ipod connections etc.). The bath rooms are tastefully done and well equipped with amenities so much so that you probably don't have to bring any with you. No problem with floor noise or elevator wait times. The Fitness Center is an A with great views, lighted space, full aerobic and anaerobic machines, a great pool and pool terrace, and an elaborate spa. Also a very available staff to help you if desired. The restaurants are nice, a tad pricey, but you have four good choices. And the hotel is connected to great shopping at IFC 1 and 2.,

As a conference attendee, the ballroom is good for a plenary session of about 450 people. There are good breakout rooms for side sessions. The banquet staff and food service is very good. The only drawback is the lack of a nearby alternative room for an eating function so that the plenary room attendees don't have to have meals served in the actual plenary session ballroom. So, if you are a meeting planner or host, you need to think about this.

With this said, the hotel is a great choice and a refined and festive environment especially over the holiday session. You will like it.

Room Tip: ask for a harbor view room
