Very good service and location. The view from the room on the Victoria Harbor is unforgettable. Direct access to the mall next to the hotel, is also very useful. The quality of the Chinese restaurant equals its very good reputation.

Room Tip: Take the Victoria Harbour view

An incredible hotel . It's location in Hong Kong is the best . The ambience ,service , room service and style ten out of ten . My wife and I had went to stay for four days ,it was so good we stayed another three nights !!!
The Chinese restaurant is the best in the world , you must order the duck . The bar is lively but intimate . All the staff fantastic, the Spa staff were even better than fantastic .

Nothing stands still in Hong Kong, especially "new" anything, but after only eight years, the Four Seasons is the epitome of what the future holds for Hong Kong tourists and business people. Where the Mandarin is really old world charm, the Four Seasons is just plain updated elegance. It feels new, it looks new and it is spectacular. From the entryway to the hallways and rooms everything shouts five stars. The wood paneling is most luxurious in a tiger maple without a scratch on any surface and the fact that all of the marble joins are beveled are just an added detail that may be overlooked. We were lucky to have a harbor view that is certainly worth the extra $60 (US) as everyday is a reality show between the ICC light show and the never ending stream of ships, boats, ferries and junks sailing by always on there way to or from somewhere exotic.
But bricks and mortar do not a hotel make, and the Four Seasons has excelled in doing the unexpected, which always makes me happy! Service is always just within reach without being obsequious and the little touches just add so much value to one's stay. Look in the shower to see the little step so that you can clean your feet or the shaving mirror that just makes the morning that much more efficient, but the real magic happens when you leave the room. Coming back to see all the amenities completely refreshed and all my and my wife's toiletries neatly placed in a logical and ascending (or descending) order gives great joy to my OCD. However the little screen wipes for my laptop and I-Pad were only exceeded by the Velcro wraps that tied my extra cords all in neat little bundles, it was so organized my wife almost divorced me as she thought I would expect such excesses at home.
The restaurants at the Four Seasons also excel and will be reviewed later, but the Bleu Bar has the most extravagant bartender who really does mix the best cocktails of all the restaurants serving the hotel.
If this is the ne Hong Kong, go for it as the experience is a view towards the future and a view well worth seeing.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view! Although the Hotel is in between two busy streets, the noise levels are...

As you would expect, the place is completely spotless. Coffee machine, fresh ice, even a stationary box and a bose dock in the room, not to mention the double sink, and a tv in the bath. Really helpful staff, and walkable distance to central district. Room service was quick, even at 4am in the morning. Also very reachable to the airport express where you can check your luggage in up to 24 hours before your flight! Overall pleasant stay and would definitely recommend!

Great service...spotless and beautiful inside.
The spa and pool are fantastic.. and the staff were just excellent.
I cant comment on the food as we didn't eat there.
The mattresses were the most comfortable I have slept on.
HK is small and most things are easy to walk to but this is about as central as it gets...right by the ferries and the IFC mall.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the FSHK followed by 11 days in Thailand.

We took the train from HK Airport to downtown and were picked up by a complimentary FS shuttle from there. That, and check in, were all smooth. We had booked two neighbouring rooms for our children (20 and 14) and my husband and myself. The rooms were nice, though ours smelled of smoke. They were also rather standard - could have been rooms in NYC or Chicago - we didn't fee like we were in Asia in the rooms. We have stayed at half a dozen FS properties and what we always enjoy are how they tie in local culture. For example, in Maui, they have Hawaiian music playing in the bathrooms. We were also disappointed that there were no "gifts" for our children when we arrived. We know they aren't little kids any more, but, for example, last summer in Hualalai, the FS staff left a robe for our 19 year old and a stuffed animal for our 13 year old. Just a nice touch.

Otherwise, our stay was very nice. The staff are beyond compare; definitely up to Four Seasons snuff. Our buffet and sit down breakfasts were both very good. Dinner in the Michelin star Cantonese restaurant was just okay - that was our only disappointment. We had the set menu and found it lacking. We loved our dinner at The Chairman. Fabulous food.

We went on a trip up the peak (great way to spend the morning) and benefited from leaving early. It was packed by the time we left. Go right after breakfast.

We also loved our trip to the big Buddha. Take the gondola there - amazing! And make sure to eat at the monastery. Cheapest vegetarian food and one of our best meals!

The staff at the FS was wonderful in terms of providing directions and helped us check in to our flights for Thailand. Really great service.

I think if i were to return to HK, I would try the Upper House to enjoy a bit more Asian culture in my hotel but I would never steer anyone away from the FS. It is a great place.

This is the only hotel to stay in HK. I've stay at HK FS for over 20 times, and none have disappointed. Located at IFC, where the best shopping in HK is located, there's the train from the airport and restaurants all around really make the Fours Seasons really convenient. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are really big and extremely comfortable. The breakfast is excellent.
