We stayed twice in March at either end of our holiday in Vietnam. The first time we stayed in the L600 Premier and the second time were lucky enough to be upgraded to the L900 Landmark Suite. Both rooms were incredible particularly the rainforest shower and the huge bath (which surprisingly took no time at all to fill). The beds were really comfy and the blackout blinds meant we both slept really well.
The main downside to the room was the automation and the high tech lighting system which confused me every time - even my "techy" husband struggled so it wasn't just a woman thing! Also the wifi coverage was really poor and we had to use the cable to be able to access the internet. When you have to pay for daily internet access (a pet hate of ours when you're already paying high room prices) it's even more annoying when it isn't even wireless. The only other annoyance was when we needed to print as the one guest use printer was in the spa reception area where there is one PC and a Mac for guest use. That was OK for us as we use both but I saw other guests having to wait for the windows PC as they did not know how to use a Mac.
The customer service in the hotel was excellent at all times and it was nice to be recognised when we returned the second time.
Location was excellent as it was a short walk through the Landmark Centre to the underground for Kowloon and less than 5 mins walk to Lan Kwai Fong.
Overall a very good hotel with just a few niggly areas.

Slickest hotel in the area with superb service and cool rooms, huge bathtub.

Located in the main shopping mall, Zumas on your doorstep and all the fancy shops (Miu Miu, etc).

Just a stroll outside gives you the fel for HK and Central with any mnumber of shops etc.

Great rooms at the Landmark! Very modern but still comfortable. I truely enjoyed my time there and would reccomend it to someone wanting to stay in central. As usual classic Mandarin Oriental service!

Spent the weekend at the Landmark Mandarin for a staycation and left totally energised. Stayed in the L450 which was very very spacious. There was a huge king size bed, walk in wardobe and giant bathroom with separate rain shower, sunken bath and his and her sinks.

The blinds are controlled electrically, and there are also quite a few lights so the room wasn't as dark as most hotel rooms are. The free slippers are super comfy and there is a free newspaper in the morning.

The bathroom was equipped with all the usual toiletries, sewing kit, deodorant, nail clippers etc. There is also a choice of baths which you can order a butler to draw for you. Choices range from: milk bath, kids bath, lavender, ginger, couples bath and champange bath!! All options come with a snack (milk bath came with chocolate cake and a pot of warm milk).

The staff are warm, friendly and always willing to help. It's definitely service with a smile.

The Landmark Mandarin is conveniently located in Central and there is an MTR exit in The Landmark. It's close to shops, banks, art galleries, restaurants, bars and cafes. It's also about a 10 minute walk to the Star Ferry pier.

I will definitely stay again.

OK - I have to admit this is an unduly biased review as I got upgraded (without asking) to a fabulous suite. However, I should point out that I would have been 100% happy with one of the Mandarin's standard rooms, which are great.
I have been staying at the Mandarin for 3 years now. Every time I stay, I am taken aback by the hotel's amazing standards - the service, the rooms, the beds, the decor, the technology, the food, the buzzy bar and a great gym. This is an expensive hotel in every way, but worth every penny. Every single member of staff exemplifies a passion to excel.
It is located in Central, over the amazingly swanky Landmark shopping centre, and yards away from lots of fun clubs and restaurants.

After months of research, we selected this modern, beautiful hotel located in the heart of the business district. Equipped with smart technology and a huge bathroom spa, this room surrounded us in luxury. The linens were amazing and the mattress was the most comfortable hotel mattress we have experienced. The circular bathroom was enclosed with glass and surrounded a huge tub. Landmark's spa was also top notch (check out their website). Walking distance to Victoria's Peak and ferry in the heart of the financial district. Lots of restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff took time to answer our questions and ensure we had a fantastic time in Hong Kong!

Stayed a couple of times both at the old historic Mandarin Oriental and the new Landmark oriental. Hard to make a choice, depends on my mood.
Love there large modern rooms (60sqm), maybe the bathtub is a little too much ( its huge), service is what you expect from a Mandarin Hotel. Very very spacious rooms and quite. Can highly recommend the restaurants and the bar. Location fits both for business (right in the CENTER) and close to shopping and nightlife.
Hotel is close to perfect, pricey but you get what you pay for.
