We stayed two nights after arriving late at the airport. Check in was fairly painless and efficient, not so much evidence of the "fun" you get in the US Disney, but maybe it was just because it was late. The garden view room is spacious with two queen beds and actually a sea view. I was expecting the room to be more special than it was, it was pretty much just a room, but it was comfortable and clean. We paid for a character breakfast which was well received by my 4 year old daughter - the food was pretty good too, it should be though for the price.
We didn't eat any other meals in the hotel as we were in the park all day until after the fireworks.
Shuttle works pretty well, no queues at either end really, only takes 10 minutes to the park, or a couple of minutes to Hollywood hotel.
Free Wifi in the lobby, or pay 120HKD for wired internet in the room - not sure why hotels insist on making their guests walk to the lobby for internet...
I guess really the only useful comparison is with Disney Hollywood hotel, which I can't help with. We were in the hotel so little we probably could have saved some money and gone for the Hollywood, but we had a good time - and in the total expense of the holiday, the difference in price isn't that significant.

We were a little afraid, as this is really a big hotel..and we thinked when crossing the door tha maybe we should have choice something smaller, but since the first contavt with the staff (actually the guys in charge of the luggage) we knew that our week-end will be fantastic..
We arrived early at hotel (10am), and have been told that our rooms will only be ready around 3pm. but we were given our park entries and told also that we could enjoy all hotel facilities as normal guest (we were given an hotel Id card)..so we got to he park, but around 1pm as the ay was really hot we decided to go back to have a snack on the swimming pool bar, we used the changing rooms and were given a locker to stuff our clothes, then we had a lunch and used the hotel id card mentionned earlier, around 3.30 pm we got back to reception and got our key. Again all staff was really kind and nice. At night we decided to have some shopping, we gone to the CITY GATE OUTLETS (costs 100HKD by taxi and takes less than 10 minuts) we had dinner there (plenty of choice for dinner) Next morning we started with a muss do..the breakfast at ENCHANTED GARDEN.. And really ..even expensive, really deserves the price..food was great and having bkf with Mickey, Pluto, Goofy... is something my son will never forget...After bkf we did the check-out gave our luggage to the staff and gone to park..and enjoyed the rest of day...at 7 pm come back get our lugagge and geon eyo HKG..

Great with kids. Good size rooms. All you expect from five star resort. One suggestion hotel could do with a convenience store, totally lacking throughout complex. Beds Very good, pillows good, bedding good, cleanliness high standard, bathroom trad but good, staff professional and personable, smell neutral and clean, noise very low. Recommended.

Stayed one night with my wife and 4 year old son, who had visited the park while I had business meeting in downtown Hong Kong. Booked a standard room but got upgraded to Suite, which was large and comfortable with separate living room and two bathrooms. Obviously, it was great to be upgraded, but we were facing the garden and I would recommend a sea facing view if you can. The decor is very clean but feels slightly dated. The hotel has lots of Disney touches, such as Disney branded bathroom toiletries, and Disney characters taking pictures with the children at breakfast. All lots of fun and my 4 year old son loved running around the maze behind the hotel. Only complaint would be you can really hear any noise in the corridor from the room - not well soundproofed. Also, the food is extremely expensive. We were tired and ordered room service, which was a poor menu and around twice the price you would usually expect to pay for similar items in another hotel. The hotel is isolated and it's not easy to travel to eat somewhere else: they are obviously taking advantage of this fact with the food prices. Anyway - my son enjoyed the park, and this hotel is conveniently located to crash at the end of the day. The airport is only around 20 minutes away and very easy to get a taxi.

My wife recently won a trip for two to this magical hotel, during our stay we felt like royalty, however, my only complaint is that although we had communicated with he hotel continuously regarding additional guests staying in the room with us we were advised there would be no charge, until we arrived and discovered we had to pay for the two porta beds, an unplanned expense we could have done without.

Overall I still rate this hotel as one of the best I have ver stayed in and I thank Disneyland Hong Kong for the pleasure of staying there, next time we travel to Hong Kong we intend to stay there again and will happily pay for a suite on the kingdom club floor.

We had an enjoyable 2 night stay at the Kingdom club room. The best part was probably enjoying the access to the comfortable club lounge.

Service was excellent at the Kingdom club lounge with cookies, warm milk, drinks and tasty appetisers served most of the day. You can watch the fireworks from the lounge balcony at 7pm. Starting at about 8pm, staff will engage the children in some art activities and a story will be read the children in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. At about 8.45pm, either Mickey or Minnie comes out in pyjamas and the children get to hug and take pictures with the character. This certainly beats queuing for 30 minutes for character photo taking at disneyland! Breakfast comes with the Kingdome club room and it's served in the lounge.

The hotel has a very classic and timeless decor. My only complaint was that the plumbing was very noisy - we could hear it everytime the bath/ shower was running next door. So you have to pray for neighbours who don't decide to have a bath after midnight.
