“Club is a Must!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 December 2013

Beautiful hotel - keeping with the true 'Disneyland' feel. As you walk-in (after the lovely attentive concierge staff) you are in awe of the spectacular interior! It's disney all the way!
As we were in the club rooms, we were whisked away to the club room for check-in, coffee, hot chocolates, biscuits and lollies... You are truly looked after.
With a room-upgrade to a suite we were not disappointed! Large balcony and fantastic views, huge rooms and lovely decor made the disney feel more wonderful. Only disappointment was the very average room service, when you spend a day at the park sometimes you just feel like bring in your pj's and relaxing in your room with dinner...
The club lounge has a very good spread of food and beverages at all sittings, a great balcony for the fireworks, meet and greet with disney characters and wonderful bed-time story reading... Not to mention the amazing staff - They're what truly makes the club lounge - truly amazing!!!
The gardens are spectacular as with the outdoor pool and set at an appropriate temperature!
The gym has everything you need for a good workout (if the park isn't enough) and has an indoor pool too.
Only negative, people should not be allowed to sleep on the lounges during the day! It does not look good when you walk into such a wonderful setting to see seeing families sprawled out, over the 'Victorian' style settees, luggage besides them...

Room Tip: Ratings based on club lounge rooms - definitely worth the extra cost. All club rooms are on the top...

we stayed at the hotel for 3D2N as we had planned a leisurely 2-day trip to Disneyland. I had read the reviews and so wasn't expecting much when we reached the hotel. Check-in took a while and the front counter staff who served me wasn't exactly very proficient in English. I had told him that I didn't order any dim sum set at the Crystal Lotus restaurant for the lunch reservation that I made, and he nodded. However, i received a note in the room asking me to collect the dim sum vouchers from the front counter. i also didn't realise it was for the dim sum set till i was checking out when i asked the front counter staff if i could cancel my reservation. that's when she checked with me if i had ordered the dim sum sets. thankfully, we could cancel our reservation at no extra charges even though i had ordered some of the a la carte dim sum earlier. and checkout was pretty efficient.

on our 1st day there, i noticed the towels in our bathroom looked were hanging from the towel racks which looked like they were used. so i asked for fresh towels which they replaced eventually. but the room is pretty big as compared to the room of the hotel we stayed in the city.

food at the Walt's Cafe and Enchanted Gardens were not great, but there were not many choices in the hotel. so, we decided to have our breakfast at Disneyland on Day 2.
But if you want to take pictures with Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pluto, then do the buffet breakfast at the Enchanted Garden Restaurant. they would go round taking pictures with the guests and they do make a stop at almost every table but of course the buffet breakfast wasn't cheap.

but the plus point about the hotel is that it's near to Disneyland - it's just a shuttle bus away and the bus service is pretty frequent. so if you are tired after spending a few hrs at Disney, you can take the bus back and then return to Disneyland for the fireworks later at night. so i will stay here again for the convenience if i'm going to Disneyland.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we definitely enjoyed our stay. This hotel offers free shuttle buses to Disneyland and the garden maze at the back is very popular with our kids. Our room was simple but comfortable, however bathroom amenities were inadequate for four of us. Staff were friendly and helpful and there are plenty of activities for kids if you have time to spare after a day trip to Disneyland.

Once you walk into the hotel, you will be in awe. Glorious setting and deco, to the finest details. Travelled as a group of 2 families with a toddler each. Check in was a bit late though at 3 pm and we were expected to check out by 11am the next day. Managed to check out at 12pm though only upon request.
Rooms were spacious and once again got us in awe with the attention to details.
Staff could be more proactive in informing us that there were activities for the kids at different times of the day. That being said, I would definitely come back here again!!!

All you families with lots of kids your search for a good time ends with Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. What more do you want, the Disneyland Park just next to your hotel. Kids can feast on the great fare at breakfast with Mickey and his pals. All sorts of child friendly facilities including Character Dining, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and a Storybook Playroom are at your disposal. Traditional sports facilities are available lest the elders feel left out. In fact, the Mickey Maze is just ideal for both parents and their children to explore. The hotel is excellent for combining business with pleasure. Your company could organize a serious seminar using the Disney Meeting facility while your family could enjoy the hotel and park facilities. Wouldn’t that be great – a home away from home.

This is my 2nd time there. First time was about 4-5 years back.

Spent 2 nights there. The travel all over the park was easy and v v child friendly. There was enough to keep the children entertained. I did not try the recreational facilities in the hotel but saw there were really staff on hand to be child minders that can allow the parents to have a breather.Well done for all the small details.

The disappointment was in the room itself. Amenities were really cut back. I was travelling with kids but I was only supplied with 1 bath gel and 1 shampoo to cater to our family of 5. There was no equal replenishment of the bath towels also. The draining in the sink was bad and the water coming out from the bath shower was brown. As for the room, the carpet does not seem to have been vacuumed for a LONNNNGGGG time. I saw dried up crumbs of bread 'sprinkled 'around the room. The room also look aged....Furniture had bad scratches and the cushion soiled.

Perhaps I am just unlucky enough to get a room that is not too ideal. I am usually not so critical but this time, I feel that Disney has disappointed me somehow.

PS: I only saw Mickey once during my whole entire stay there and it was during the breakfast session... Gone are the times where I see the characters lingering in the lobby to greet the kids. Did not feel the Disney magic.

Room Tip: Perhaps traveling during the off peak will be a better option
