“Average property, but poor rooms”

We had high anticipations from Disney Land hotel, and were actually quite excited ourselves about staying there... but we were really disappointed!!
The entrance is nice and the lobby is lovely... we were excited like kids.. but the room was really poorly maintained.. the rugs were brown and faded.. and my son was disappointed that there was actually nothing "disney" in the room... only the cardboard boxes of the toiletries... besides that nothing!!! :( Infact my son was begging us to return to Shanghrila hotel where we had stayed the previous night.
The advantage is that it is close to disney land... and so you can get sufficient rest... and it is easy to grab the breakfast with the character... which was lovely and worth the stay!
I wish they would refurbish the property a big... replace all the old tattered stuff and make it more "magical".

Stayed for 2 nights. Booked a Garden View Room through Hong Kong Disneyland website. Bell service is very efficient as they use bar codes to track your luggage. We had to queue for check-in, but waiting time was not that long. Room was already available (arrived at around 1:30pm, normal check-in time is 3pm). The room is very spacious compared to other Hong Kong hotels in the city. Bathroom was also big and has a Snow White theme. Bed was very comfortable. Room and bathroom were clean. Room has the view of the Mickey Maze. Complimentary internet throughout the whole hotel is a huge plus. Breakfast buffet was good and is a variety of Western and Asian cuisine. The whole hotel area is very beautiful. The lobby was very big with Victorian-inspired chairs and coffee tables and huge chandeliers. The back area of the hotel (where the garden is) was breathtaking, especially the Water Promenade. My only complaint was that it smelled of cigarette smoke in our hallway even though we were on a non-smoking floor. The smell seeped through the bathroom. Good thing the smell didn't reach the room. Overall, our stay was very magical.

We stayed here for 4 nights & thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The main purpose of our trip to Hong Kong was to do the whole Disney experience for our 3 year old & she loved every second of it.
The hotel was beautiful, lovely gardens, amazing view of the sea. The character breakfast was brilliant.
We had our last night in the Kingdom club room which gave us access to the lounge upstairs including drinks & food throughout the day, breakfast & the best part for our daughter, Mickey Mouse in his pyjamas comes in to say Goodnight.
The service & staff were good in general, but Check in was SOOOOO slow, I am not sure why.
Definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Disneyland as you can walk along the boardwalk in about 10-15 minutes straight to the Park.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and convenient to Disney Land.
The rooms are a bit dated.
The food in the hotel is unnecessarily expensive, specially breakfast.
The activities in in the kids area are great (although the timetable is a bit ridged).
The pool and watersides are ask great and very well supervised.
If you like running, there are some great jogging tracks along the harbour and to Disney Land.
Our advice is to take a train and buy food in the Citi Gate area.

I staied in hotel for a week with my nease. Great ecsperians for both of us. All the time we had a filling like we live in faritale or in world of 1880s. Everything very beautiful and romantic. Hotel is nice combination between fairytail and victorian english hotel from some historic movies.
We choose it to go to Disneyland, and it is best place to live for it.
It is not easy to get to the city-center, but it is nice place to spend hollidays with kids near on the seaside.

It was our first time to visit HK Disneyland Resort and we were so delighted with what we saw especially on our way to the hotel - the beautiful green landscapes. We spent overnight at this hotel after spending a day in the resort. They have convenient shuttle service which made our visit hassle free. We have availed 20% off early booking from the hotel website. The Disney music playing in every corner of the resort added to our magical experience in this place. This is indeed one of the happiest places on earth!

We stayed here last Dec, 22-24, 2013 to celebrate my son's 1st. birthday. The hotel, inside out, is clean, beautiful and elegant. Anyone who will step foot in the hotel will always have something special to remember, for instance, the grand chandelier, the classic elevator and the garden maze.

Let me share with you our experience.

Room & Amenities: We stayed at one of their Kingdom club rooms and I have nothing but good words for the room and amenities. We arrived at the room and saw a birthday card and cake for my son. Thanks Disneyland Hotel! We appreciate it so much. Same night, the curtain rod was broken. I called housekeeping and they sent someone to fix it in no time. The view from the balcony, day or night is breathtaking. Important stuffs, though, like slippers, always comes with 2 pairs for adults and 1 pair for a child. They should have prepared the correct quantity since they know how many guests will occupy the room.

Restaurant: We only tried Walt's cafe on our first night and sadly, we didn't get the worth of our money. The taste of the food and the serving is size don't give justice to its price. Even the dessert/drink didn't taste good.

We tried the maze. It looks good and feels good that we can actually play at the garden maze that we only get to see in TV.

Shuttle:
Shuttle services to and from the hotel arrive on time.

Service:
1. While checking in, there was this guy who approached me while I and the receptionist was talking. He asked for the kind of room that we booked and asked if we are going to leave our luggages since we arrived earlier than 3:00pm. We were a family of 4 adults and 2 kids. When he was escorting us in the 7th floor, the guy didn't even bother to help us with our luggages and appeared like he was in a hurry. He wasn't disrespectful but not friendly and welcoming, too. He left us (without saying good bye) as soon as the lady at the lounge talked to me.

2. As soon as we arrived back to the hotel, I ask the person at the bell service if they still have our luggages or if the luggages were already brought inside our room. He stared at me for few seconds before he started talking. He asked me if I checked in already and when I answered yes, he pointed me to the receptionist. Yes, he didn't say anything, he just pointed his finger to the receptionist. That guy at the bell service (night of December 22, 2013) was really unbelievable. I don't understand why Disneyland hotel hire someone like him. That night, I really felt sorry we wasted our HKG 11,000++ for staying in that hotel.

The hotel is one of the most beautiful and expensive hotel I've been to in Asia. The friendliness and the willingness of the staff to help, however, is downright disappointing. My family will surely go back to Hongkong because of Disneyland park but we will surely not stay in this hotel.
